Conservation tillage is a kind of agricultural production mode with the main goal of protecting soil and ecological environment. It aims to solve the problems of excessive exploitation of resources, environmental pollution and the safety and quality of agricultural products in the traditional agricultural mode.In promoting agricultural modernization and promoting protective cultivation, the relevant policies and documents of our country play an important role. The Law on the Promotion of Agricultural Modernization encourages the adoption of scientific and rational farming methods, including the promotion of conservation farming techniques,in order to achieve sustainable agricultural development and ecological environment protection. In addition, the Action Plan for the Comprehensive Prevention and Control of agricultural non-point Source Pollution clearly proposes to strengthen the prevention and control of agricultural non-point source pollution, and promotes conservation tillage technology as one of the important measures to reduce farmland non-point source pollution. The Pilot Program for the Reform of the Rural Land System encourages farmers to adopt scientific farming methods, including conservation tillage techniques, and implement land rotation and fallow,in order to promote the protection and sustainable use of the farmland ecological environment, with emphasis on reducing the use of pesticides and fertilizers. These policies and documents provide guidance and support for promoting conservation tillage techniques, realizing sustainable agricultural development and ecological and environmental protection. However,in practice, farmers have different degrees of cognition and adoption of conservation tillage, which affects the development and popularization of conservation tillage.Conservation tillage is a sustainable farming method, which is of great significance to promote sustainable development of agriculture. We must take measures to promote conservation farming and contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture. In this thesis,Hanshan County in Anhui Province was selected as the research area to explore the factors of farmers’ adoption of conservation tillage technology from the perspective of their cognition.By means of questionnaire survey, rice farmers were taken as the main research objects, and relevant factors were studied in combination with the main conservation tillage methods within the county, such as straw returning to the field, less tillage and no tillage, and the application of organic fertilizers. The research will focus on farmers’ understanding of conservation tillage techniques, their cognition of green development prospects, their cognition of waste resource reuse and their cognition of environmental protection. At the same time, the impact of publicity and the Internet on farmers will be considered. In addition, factors such as farmers’ personal characteristics, family background, living environment, policy environment and agricultural production will be comprehensively considered, and hypotheses will be put forward based on self-conducted research data and empirical test will be conducted.According to the results, the following conclusions are drawn: publicity and training of conservation tillage related techniques have positive effects on farmers’ conservation tillage.Publicity and training can improve farmers’ awareness of conservation tillage techniques, enhance their technical capacity, and motivate farmers to participate in conservation tillage. There is a positive relationship between farmers’ cognition of conservation tillage and its implementation. When farmers have a higher awareness of conservation tillage, they are more willing to participate in conservation tillage, and can better grasp the technology and methods of conservation tillage.A farmer’s decision to adopt conservation farming involves a variety of factors, such as education level, village leadership status, membership in cooperatives, household income, and land area. These factors reflect the differences of farmers’ knowledge level, social network, economic ability and resource endowment, and also affect the adoption possibility and effect of conservation tillage. The effects of these factors should be considered to better understand the behavior and decision-making process of farmers, and corresponding policies and measures should be formulated to promote the implementation and development of conservation tillage. These include measures to improve farmers’ knowledge of conservation farming, technical training, continuous introduction of a variety of pro-farming policies, and the use of the Internet to publicize relevant technologies. These measures can help improve farmers’ awareness and active participation in conservation tillage and achieve the goal of promoting conservation tillage.Based on the research results, this thesis puts forward some measures and suggestions.Firstly, farmers’ awareness of relevant tillage techniques should be improved, and their understanding of conservation tillage techniques should be enhanced through technical training and knowledge popularization activities.Secondly,it is suggested that the government continue to introduce a variety of favorable policies to encourage farmers to adopt conservation farming techniques, including providing subsidies and incentives. In addition, the Internet platform can be used to enhance the publicity and promotion of conservation tillage techniques to increase the participation and identity of farmers. The implementation of these measures is expected to further promote the adoption and popularization of conservation tillage technology, achieve sustainable agricultural development, but also effectively respond to climate change and other environmental challenges, and provide better basic conditions for agricultural production. |
