Forest fire is one of the most frequent, most difficult and most serious natural disasters in the world. It is the biggest threat to the achievements of ecological civilization construction and the safety of forest resources, and even causes ecological disasters and social crises. With the continuous warming of the global climate, the temperature rises, and the distribution of a large range of coniferous flammable tree species in Taishan, the forest retains a large amount of combustibles, and the fire risk level continues to rise.It will enter a long-term forest fire highrisk period and prone period, and the forest fire prevention situation is extremely severe.Forest fire barrier as a basic measure to prevent and control the spread of fire.Scientific planning of forest fire barrier and construction of forest fire barrier network play a significant role in consolidating the achievements of afforestation project construction and protecting ecological benefits. In this study, the main scenic area of Taishan Scenic Area was taken as the research object. The purpose of this study was to carry out the network layout of forest fire barrier zone through remote sensing image and geographic information system, and to screen the biological barrier tree species with excellent fire resistance,so as to provide scientific reference for the next forest fire prevention work in Taishan Scenic Area. The main results are as follows :(1)Combined with the relationship between forest fire barrier line selection and economy, forest environment, society and technology, elevation, slope, aspect, slope position and feature type are selected as the influencing factors of line selection. The analytic hierarchy process is used to analyze the selected influencing factors. The results show that different influencing factors have different effects on forest fire barrier.Among them, the type of ground object has the greatest influence, the weight is 0.2401,and the slope position factor has the smallest weight, which is 0.1183.The weight of each influencing factor index from large to small is : ground object > elevation-altitude > slope > aspect > slope position.(2)Using the hydrological analysis method to extract the ridge line and valley line of the study area, combined with the main wind direction of the study area to determine the primary route of the forest fire barrier zone, with the help of Arc GIS to extract the terrain factors such as elevation-altitude,slope,slope direction and slope position, and through ENVI software supervised classification method to extract the feature types for reclassification assignment, according to the weight determined by the analytic hierarchy process to establish a comprehensive cost model, using the cost path analysis tool to obtain the cost path results based on the comprehensive cost model. The results of cost path analysis and the primary route of forest fire barrier are highly consistent and overlapped in the direction. The results of engineering barrier line selection are obtained by fitting the two.(3)In the planning of forest fire barrier, the length of new engineering barrier is about58.736 km,and the length of new biological barrier is about 90.491 km.After planning, the total length of forest fire barrier is 301.204 km,and the total length density of forest fire barrier increases from 15.09 m / ha to 21.95 m / ha.The length of new forest fire barrier only accounts for 49.54 % of the total length of planned forest fire barrier, and the barrier network formed by forest fire barrier after planning divides the study area into 81 barrier units. All reach the standard of length density corresponding to the control area of barrier belt in general public welfare forest area in the construction standard of forest fire barrier system.(4)The flammability of 19 main tree species was evaluated by hierarchical cluster analysis and principal component analysis.Robinia pseudoacacia,Populus tomentosa,Ligustrum lucidum,Acer pictum subsp.mono,Pteroceltis tatarinowii,Quercus acutissima,Broussonetia papyrifera and Ulmus parvifolia Jacq, which are difficult to burn, more difficult to burn and the comprehensive score of flammability is less than 0.6,were selected as the fire-resistant tree species for constructing the biological barrier zone.
