In recent years,the number of rock slope excavations in largescale geotechnical engineering construction in my country has been increasing,which can easily lead to geological disasters such as slope collapse and debris flow,and bring ecological problems such as soil erosion,dust pollution,and biodiversity destruction.In order to effectively realize the ecological protection of the slope,this paper carries out the research on functional composite greening and vegetation substrate of rock slope through the means of laboratory test and theoretical analysis,and takes the thick-layer substrate spraying technology as the guide.The main research content and research results as follows:(1)Through theoretical exploration,we chose creeper,bermudagrass and Lingxiao as experimental plants.The main materials of the substrate are: soil,cementing material,water-retaining agent,fiber,organic matter,fertilizer,inorganic porous material,soil conditioner,etc.,and Fishbone diagram analysis method is used to determine that the main reason for the failure of spraying technology for thick-layer substrates is the substrate,and the problems of water and fertilizer retention,high p H value,and substrate structure of the substrate are the key to its performance improvement;(2)Based on the survival characteristics of plants,9 groups of orthogonal experiments were designed for water-retaining agents,cementing materials and fibers to measure p H value,water content and fertility,and then determine the correlation between the three variables,combined with plant growth conditions,determine [B The substrate formula of water retention agent +(8% cement + 20% fly ash)+ straw +other main materials] has better performance in water retention,fertilizer retention,p H value,etc.;(3)Through the observation method,the overall growth of the ivy,Lingxiao,and bermudagrass was observed,and the plant types more suitable for the growth of rocky slopes were obtained from the number of leaves or the degree of coverage and other growth dominance indicators:Bermudagrass > Creeper > Lingxiao;(4)The improvement of structural properties such as connectivity and porosity between substrates by two types of fiber materials,such as straw and wool,was investigated.Adding wool fiber is more conducive to slope planting than straw fiber;(5)Combining the two aspects of plant survival characteristics and substrate structure characteristics,it is finally clear that the formula of[Type B water-retaining agent +(8% cement + 20% fly ash)+ wool + other main materials] is more conducive to thick layer substrates Application of slope protection technology.
