Study On Spatial Characteristics And Influencing Factors Of Heritage Trees Resources In Wu’an City

Heritage trees have experienced hundreds of years of precipitation and become an indispensable part of ecological construction,spiritual,historical,cultural and scientific research.Wu’an has a long cultural history and is known as the "Millennium Ancient County".There are a large number of Heritage trees in the territory,and the number of existing ancient trees is the largest in all counties and districts of Handan.With the rapid development of urbanization at this stage,the problems encountered in the protection of Heritage trees will become increasingly prominent.Therefore,it is urgent to strengthen the protection and management of Heritage trees in cities and towns.This thesis takes the Heritage trees resources in Wu’an City as the research object,and analyzes their spatial characteristics,relevant influencing factors and influencing mechanisms.The main elements are as follows:(1)Based on the current situation of heritage trees resources in Wu’an City,the analysis of the resource characteristics of heritage treess in Wu’an City through fieldwork and data collection revealed that there are a total of 1,364 heritage treess in Wu’an City,including 406 scattered species and 958 trees in 4 groups of ancient trees,belonging to 12 families,22 genera and 28 species,with a more concentrated composition of families and species.There are a variety of species,the dominant species are very prominent,mostly resistant native species;from the analysis of the distribution pattern,in the city’s 22 towns(townships)are distributed,in the habitat distribution is relatively scattered;different elevation gradients and slope direction will cause the distribution of old and valuable trees are different;Wu’an City old and valuable trees growth state is good,most of the normal growth potential,no dead plants;from the status of ownership of old and valuable trees From the analysis of the current situation of the ownership of old and valuable trees in Wu’an,the majority of the ownership of old and valuable trees in Wu’an City is collective,and only a few of them are owned by individuals.(2)The research and analysis on the spatial distribution of Heritage trees in Wu’an City based on GIS and its influencing factors show that the nearest index of the spatial distribution of Heritage trees in Wu’an City is R=0.2085(<1),and the coefficient of variation is 1.18(>0.64),which belongs to the strong variation type and aggregation type.However,the overall Moran’s I index of the spatial distribution of Heritage trees among villages and towns in Wu’an City was-0.025,and the z statistical value was 0.55,which failed the significance test(P value was 0.578)and did not show significant global spatial autocorrelation.The factors that affect the growth of Heritage trees are often a combination of many factors.Through research,it is concluded that the spatial distribution is significantly positively correlated with the distance from the water source and negatively correlated with the road density.These related factors,through complex interactions,jointly determine the spatial distribution pattern of Heritage trees in Wu’an City.(3)Exploring the willingness of Wu’an citizens to participate and pay for the protection and management of Heritage trees,it is found that the willingness of Wu’an citizens to pay for the protection of Heritage trees every year is is mostly 10 yuan or less,and the overall willingness to pay is low;Secondly,the younger the citizens in Wu’an are,the more secure their income is,and the higher their education level is,the higher their willingness to participate in and pay for the protection and management of Heritage trees;At the same time,the more comprehensive the functional cognition and legal cognition of Wu’an citizens on the protection and management of Heritage trees,the stronger their willingness to participate in labor;At the same time,legal awareness has a significant positive correlation with the level of payment.The higher the legal awareness,the higher the level of payment.Through the analysis of the characteristics and influencing factors of Heritage trees in Wu’an City,we can fully tap and play the value of Heritage trees in culture,history,scientific research and ecological resources,protect local biodiversity and germplasm resources,provide theoretical reference for the protection and management of Heritage trees in Wu’an City.
