Taxus madia×T.Yunnanensis’Yunman’(YM)is a new Taxus cultivated in recent years.The content of 10-DAB in branches and leaves is more than 0.20%,and the accumulation of 10-DAB per plant is much higher than that of other Taxus in China,so it has a broad application prospect.To solve the problem of low seed yield of YM,taking10-year-old YM mother tree as experimental material,four factors and four levels of orthogonal experiment were set up to study the effects of four management measures on seed yield,morphological characteristics,and physiological indexes of YM,including foliar fertilization,soil fertilization,covering measures and pruning measures.The main conclusions are as follows.(1)Through fertilization,mulching and pruning measures,seed setting rate per plant increased by 17.84%,seed setting amount per plant increased by 88,fruit transverse diameter and longitudinal diameter increased by 0.59 mm and 0.62 mm,seed transverse diameter and longitudinal diameter increased by 0.13 mm and 0.48 mm,false seed coat thickness increased by 0.24 mm,1000-grain weight increased by 4.66 g,seed viability and germination rate increased by 8.89%and 13.34%,respectively.(2)Foliar fertilization had an extremely significants effect on seed setting rate and the amount of YM mother trees.The application of 0.2%CO(NH2)2+0.2%KH2PO4 mixed solution on the leaf surface could significantly improve seed setting rate and seed set amount.Leaf fertilization had no significant effect on YM seeds’morphological characteristics and physiological indexes.(3)Soil fertilization had significant effects on seed setting rate,seed 1000-grain weight and viability of YM,and had significant effects on seed setting rate,seed transverse and longitudinal diameter and seed germination rate of YM.The effect of applying compound fertilizer 200 g every 3 months was better than 150 g,100 g,50 g.(4)Covering measures had significant effects on fruit transverse diameter,seed setting rate,fruit longitudinal diameter,seed transverse diameter,false seed coat thickness and seed viability of YM.Rice straw mulching was better than weed mulching,film mulching and no mulching.(5)The pruning measures had significant effects on seed setting rate,fruit transverse diameter and seed viability of parent tree of YM,and had significant effects on seed transverse and longitudinal diameter,pseudocoat thickness,1000-grain weight and germination rate.The pruning intensity of 30%was better than that of 20%and 10%,without pruning.(6)Based on the comprehensive evaluation of principal component analysis,it was concluded that the seed setting rate,seed setting amount and seed quality of YM were relatively high under the measures of foliar application of 0.2%CO(NH2)2+0.2%KH2PO4mixed solution,soil application of 150 g compound fertilizer,weed cover and 30%intensity pruning. |
