| Agriculture is the foundation of the state,and the state is solid.Agriculture is the guarantee of economic development and social stability.Extensive farming methods in traditional agriculture have caused problems such as ecological environment deterioration,soil acidification and hardening,soil salinization,water eutrophication,and white pollution of agricultural film,which are accompanied by the contradiction between human and land and the decline of agricultural product quality,which seriously threatens people’s lives and safety.Therefore,the protection of the ecological environment and the prevention and control of agricultural pollution are urgent problems to be solved at present,and it is imperative to promote the green transformation and development of agriculture.In 2017,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the opinions on agricultural green development,requiring all efforts to build a new pattern of agricultural green development.At the same time,General Secretary Xi has repeatedly emphasized that the development concept of clear waters and lush mountains,adhere to the orientation of green economic development,cultivate new types of agricultural business entities to operate on an appropriate scale,and realize the structural reform of the agricultural supply side.In 2021,the Ministry of Agriculture proposed to help rural revitalization with agricultural green transformation and development.my country’s household contract responsibility system determines that micro-farmers will still be the fundamentals of agricultural production for a long time in the future.Annual carbon neutrality is an important measure to implement Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought and realize the rural revitalization strategy.Therefore,clarifying the green transformation behavior of farmers and their influencing factors provides specific directions for accelerating the high-quality development and modernization of agriculture and rural areas.Based on the theories of sustainable development,Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought,and farmers’ behavior,this paper selects Qitai County Xinjiang,a pioneering area of national agricultural green development,as the main research area from the micro perspective of farmers.First,the foundation and status quo of agricultural green development in Qitai County are expounded;secondly,the heterogeneity of farmers’ green transformation behavior in Qitai County is studied by means of field research and literature analysis.This paper conducts descriptive statistical analysis on the green transformation behavior of farmers’ planting choices,green technology adoption,double reduction and utilization of resources,business organization form,and “three products and one standard” certification of agricultural products.Finally,a Cox proportional hazards model is established to conduct empirical analysis.Influencing factors of farmers’ green transition behavior.The results show that under the dual influence of internal awareness and external environment,factors such as farmers’ education level,government subsidies,environmental protection awareness,market demand,production cost,expected income and risk preference have a significant impact on farmers’ green transformation behavior.In view of this,targeted measures such as strengthening the publicity of green concepts,cultivating new types of professional farmers,avoiding the risks of green transition operations,improving the guarantee subsidy mechanism,strengthening market supervision and management,innovating sales channels,and establishing diversified cooperation among business entities are proposed.The research aims to ensure the continuous increase of farmers’ income,guide and standardize the green transformation of farmers’ production,and promote the green and high-quality development of Xinjiang’s agriculture. |
