Abstract/Summary:
Soil resources are an important carrier and component of natural resources.Quantitative analysis and calculation of soil structure and morphology and scientific classification of soil types are the keys to rational utilization of soil.In soil taxonomy,soil profile hierarchy and soil attribute determination are the keys to obtain soil diagnostic layers and diagnostic properties.Traditionally,the division of soil profiles requires professionals with a knowledge background in soil science,and the determination of soil properties requires a lot of work related to laboratory analysis,which limits the wide-scale application and promotion of soil taxonomy and greatly hinders the field application of soil science.Therefore,it is an urgent problem to find a way to quickly and easily perform soil profile hierarchy division and soil property determination.Based on computer vision technology,this subject research designs a model algorithm to realize quick measurement of the soil profile level division and soil property through MATLAB software,and then publish the model algorithm as a Web Service and deploy it on the server.Finally,with the help of mobile smart devices,the Web Service is invoked to achieve the quick measurement of soil profile hierarchy division and soil attribute,thereby assisting in the completion of the portable and concise operation of soil system classification.The main research results of soil attribute diagnosis software based on Android platform are divided into two parts including server and client:(1)The server deploys the Web Service and software database published by the quick measurement model of soil profile hierarchy division and the soil attribute.The server receives the soil image color and surrounding geographical environment data from the client and then calls the algorithm of soil diagnosis model.At the same time,MATLAB as the underlying computing platform on the server,realizes the rapid diagnosis of soil properties,returns the obtained diagnosis results to the client and stored in the database.(2)As a soil color sensor,the mobile smart client collects and extracts soil image color data and surrounding geographical environment data,and then transmits the data to the server for calculation.After the calculation,the calculation result is returned to the client so as to show users the diagnosis result of soil attribute.The client also includes basic functions such as basic map service,soil science knowledge viewing,soil science exchange and sharing community,and user settings.The test results show that the soil attribute diagnosis software designed in this project has achieved the requirments of software functions and performance,and has achieved normal and stable operation in the operating environment.The soil attribute diagnosis software provides a new solution for the rapid measurement of soil attributes based on mobile smart devices in China.It is of great significance to the innovation and development of soil science and to the promotion of the interdisciplinary subjects of information science and soil geography to a deeper and higher level.At the same time,it has an effective guiding significance for the production practice of agriculture,forestry and other related industries.
