| Comprehensive utilization of the straw has become an important way of dealing with the straw.It can not only settle the problem of straw surplus,but also can release the potential value of straw fully,which plays an important role in alleviating the energy shortage and accelerating the realization of "double carbon" goal in China."The 14 th Five-year Plan for Green Agricultural Development" has pointed out that the goal of green agricultural development should be firmly set as the first task to fulfill,and the rate of comprehensive utilization of straw will come above 86% by 2025 in China.Therefore,it is still a vital assignment to promote the progress of comprehensive utilization of straw in the future,in which reinforcing the utilization of off-field straw is one of the important ways to achieve the goal.Based on this,the research focuses on the utilization of off-field straw,taking farmers’ behavior on off-field straw as the main object,conducting a theoretical and empirical analysis on farmers’ behavior on off-field straw,in which capability theory and farmers’ behavior theory serve as the key theoretical basis,and the primary data of Henan province and Hubei Province serve as the database.The mechanism and effect of capability on farmers’ off-field straw of behavior is especially investigated,and the regulation effects of farmers’ differentiation are also verified in the research.Firstly,the actualities of straw treatment and comprehensive utilization of off-field straw are analyzed.Secondly,the capability index system is constructed with factorial analysis,and economic conditions,political conditions,social conditions and information access conditions are extracted as indicators to measure the capability with the mean of exploratory factorial analysis.Thirdly,the influence of capability index and its dimension on farmers’ off-field straw behavior is analyzed with using binary Logit model,and the regulating effect of farmers’ differentiation is verified with the method of grouping regression.Finally,the conclusions are summarized briefly on the basis of the empirical analysis,which put forward that the government should pay more attention to enhance farmers’ capability and carry out flexible policies to promote the utilization of off-field straw.The research will provide the theoretical basis and practical experience for the comprehensive utilization of straw in China in the future,.The research conclusions are listed as follow:Firstly,the rate of farmers’ behavior of off-field straw is at a low level currently,behavior of off-field straw has not been carried out widely in rural areas,and farmers mainly dispose of straw back to the field.Secondly,farmers have a deep understanding of off-field straw and a high willingness to get the straw out of field,but most of them do not adopt the off-field straw,which relates to the capability of farmers in some degrees.Thirdly,the total index of capability and the sub-dimension of capability have a significant impact on the behavior of off-field straw.Fourthly,the differentiation of farmers plays a regulating role,among which the differentiation of farmers plays a positive moderating role in economic conditions,information access conditions on farmers’ behavior on off-field straw.It plays a negative regulating role in social conditions on farmers’ straw leaving behavior.Fifthly,the effect of capability on farmers’ straw leaving behavior is different among farmers with different education levels and farming years. |
