In recent years,the acceleration of urbanization and the increasing number of employment opportunities have prompted more young laborers to develop in cities,resulting in a large number of elderly people remaining in the rural permanent population.In addition,the current level of health care in my country has been improved,and people’s life expectancy has been extended,so the problem of rural aging is becoming more and more serious.In rural areas where the age structure of the population is unbalanced,there are still many characteristic agriculture that need to be developed faster.Given the serious shortage of young labor,what impact will aging have on rural industries,and whether it will play a role in improving technical efficiency? Therefore,to carry out empirical research on the relationship between aging and the production technology efficiency of agricultural farmers is conducive to clarifying the impact mechanism and relationship between labor aging and production technology efficiency,and is also conducive to improving the production technology efficiency of agricultural farmers.Provide a practical basis.At present,there are many studies on agricultural production efficiency by relevant scholars,but little research on camellia oleifera planting,and little research on the relationship between aging and production technology efficiency.As a labor-intensive industry,camellia oleifera production technology efficiency Naturally,it will also be affected by an aging population.Therefore,this paper takes Camellia oleifera in Pucheng County,Fujian Province as an example to study the impact of the aging of the agricultural labor force on the production technology efficiency of Camellia oleifera growers.Based on the definition of core concepts such as population aging and production technology efficiency,the research is guided by the theory of total factor production,labor mobility theory,scale economy theory,and human capital theory,combined with the current situation of the aging rural labor force of camellia oleifera growers in Pucheng County.Taking the age and family characteristics of the growers as independent variables,and the production technology efficiency of camellia oleifera growers as the dependent variable,the DEA measurement model and the Tobit econometric regression analysis method were constructed to analyze the aging and production technology of camellia oleifera growers in 17 townships in Pucheng County,Fujian Province.Efficiency relationship has been researched and analyzed.The results show that the older the farmers are,the lower the production technical efficiency value is,showing a negative correlation trend;as long as the number of technical trainings per year is controlled within 6 times,the production technical efficiency can be significantly improved,otherwise it will reduce the technical efficiency;Camellia oleifera The greater the number of planted varieties,the negative impact on the technical efficiency of Camellia oleifera production.The study also used the Tobit quantitative regression analysis method to find that the annual family income of camellia oleifera growers,the number of acres of camellia plantation,and the number of elderly people over 64 years old in the family had a significant impact on the production efficiency of camellia oleifera.Based on the results of this empirical study,the research finally pointed out that Pucheng County should increase the human capital investment in camellia oleifera farmers;promote the transformation of technological application achievements of camellia farmers;promote the development of the modern business model of the camellia industry;release policy dividends to attract young laborers Suggestions for countermeasures such as returning home.This paper focuses on clarifying the relationship between the aging of labor force and the efficiency of production technology,quantifies the relationship between variables,and puts forward corresponding policy recommendations based on the results of practice.The research can not only provide theoretical guidance for the production technology efficiency improvement of Camellia oleifera Industry growers in Pucheng County in practice,but also improve the planting efficiency by improving the human capital investment in Camellia oleifera planting and the application of technical achievements;At the same time,it can also provide a useful supplement for the theoretical research in this field in our country.The research has certain positive significance for the theoretical exploration and practical application of the impact of labor aging on the technical efficiency of agricultural planting production. |
