Bupleurum is a plant of the genus Bupleurum in the Umbelliferae family.It has roots and is used as medicine.Its main active components are saikosaponins,volatile oils,and polysaccharides.Among them,saikosaponins have 4 subtypes,namely saikosaponins a,b,c,d.Bupleurum oral liquid is a traditional Chinese medicine oral liquid prepared by crushing,soaking,salting out,extracting,concentrating,fine filtration and other processes of Bupleurum The liquid has antipyretic and anti-inflammatory,antipyretic and antipyretic,liver and gallbladder protection,and cold treatment effects,of which saikosaponin and volatile oil are its main components,but there are still many problems in the Bupleurum oral liquid prepared according to the water extraction process of the pharmacopoeia,For example,the content of saikosaponin a is low,the recovery rate of saikosaponin a is low,the stability of saikosaponin a is poor,and long-term storage will cause content degradation.In this experiment,the existing process of Bupleurum Oral Liquid was optimized to improve the content and stability of saikosaponin,improve the utilization rate of Bupleurum medicinal materials,effectively reduce production costs and increase profits.The medicinal material screening study found that,according to the results of the screening test of Bupleurum chinensis,the northern Bupleurum medicinal material F,numbered CH20200206,was finally selected as the preferred medicinal material for process optimization.The content of saikosaponin a was 11799.98 μ g/m L,and the medicinal material was produced in Bozhou,Anhui.The preparation technology study found that the content of saikosaponin a in the optimized small-scale product was 2483 μg/m L,which was2.03 times higher than that of the original process;the content of saikosaponin a in the optimized pilot product was 1220 μg/m L,which was 2.18 times higher than the original process.The stability study found that after optimization,the average degradation rate of saikosaponin a content in the final product after optimization was 6.3%,which was 3 times lower than that of the original process,and the accelerated stability was 10.3%,which was 3.2times lower than that of the original process.The average degradation rate of saikosaponin a content in the pilot-scale finished product was 12.9%,which was 3.3 times lower than that of the original process;the accelerated stability was 17.7%,which was 3.5 times lower than that of the original process.The optimized Bupleurum Oral Liquid can effectively reduce the production cost and is safe for target animals,and the high dose can reduce the feed-to-meat ratio and increase the average weight gain.
