Cultivated land is a natural and social complex that covers natural and social attributes, and is the carrier of human survival and social development."Treasure, rationally use land and effectively protect cultivated land" is a basic national policy of our country. In 2020,the State Council successively issued opinions on preventing the "nonagriculturalization" and "non-grainization" of arable land to stabilize grain production. In this context,it is of great significance to discuss the evolutionary law of cultivated land multi-functionality and the balanced relationship among various functions.Taking Hunan Province as the research area, this paper analyzes the temporal and spatial evolution law of each individual function, comprehensive intensity and equilibrium degree, and identifies the multi-functional development model of cultivated land, and on this basis, uses the spatial regression model to analyze the influencing factors of the multi-functional cultivated land. Finally,an optimized management strategy for multi-functional cultivated land in Hunan Province is proposed. The results are as follows:(1)From 1996 to 2017,the economic contribution, social security, and ecological maintenance functions of cultivated land in Hunan Province had significant differences in temporal and spatial distribution. The economic contribution function continued to strengthen, and the growth areas were mainly distributed in the western part of central Hunan. Some districts and counties in eastern Hunan, western Hunan and southern Hunan all weakened. The change of the social security function of cultivated land showed a trend of first decrease and then increase, and the evolution of the function of cultivated land ecological security maintenance showed a trend of first increase and then decrease, with obvious differences in different time periods.(2)The change of the comprehensive intensity of cultivated land is relatively stable, but the gap between regional units is still large. The high-value areas of cultivated land multi-functional comprehensive intensity are mainly concentrated in the Dongting Lake plain area and the traditional agricultural areas in central and southern Hunan, and the low-value areas are mainly in the main area of Changzhutan.Urban agglomerations and the southern Shonan area;while the balance of multi-functional cultivated land is very different. The multi-functional balance of cultivated land is generally at a relatively high level, fluctuating within a certain range, and the phase change is mainly characterized by rising,in terms of spatial changes. It has experienced a process from decentralization to "partial concentration".(3)The study area can be divided into 8 types of cultivated land multifunctional development models by adopting the method of "balance + intensity + single function".In terms of spatial pattern changes, from eastern Hunan to central and western Hunan, most of the regional units turn to multifunctional integration mode.In addition to the ecological priority development model, other single-function-led regional units are gradually decreasing. The results of this study are consistent with the agricultural strategic pattern of Hunan Province with "one circle, one area and two belts" as the main body, which provides the basis for the differentiated management of cultivated land in different regions.(4)The multi-function of arable land in Hunan Province is affected by the social development level, economic development level, natural resource endowment and agricultural technology input. In short, the impact of social development and economic development on the multi-functionality of cultivated land varies greatly in different years. The overall influence is gradually weakening, and the influence of natural resource endowment is relatively stable.Among them, the influence of cultivated land resources has always been relatively high.Level, the influence of agricultural technology input factors on the multi-function of cultivated land in Hunan Province is gradually increasing, and it is gradually becoming prominent.
