Tea,as a high value-added economic crop, has an important impact on the income of Chinese tea farmers.Tea trees grow in mountainous areas.Tea is the pillar industries of agricultural economy in Anhui mountainous areas and the industries with special advantages, which have driven the economic development of Anhui mountainous areas. With the overall victory of poverty alleviation, the focus of Anhui tea industry has shifted to industrial revitalization, and rural tea farmers are the basis of effective supply of agricultural products market. However, with the labor force going out,the tea tree is aging and degenerating seriously, the infrastructure of tea garden is insufficient, the machine-picked rate of tea is low,and the extensive management of tea garden makes the per unit area yield of tea lag behind, which further affects the income level of tea farmers.Academics mostly focus on the natural science and technology of tea plants,so it is of great significance to study the relationship between tea garden management and production benefit from tea farmers to promote the high-quality and healthy development of tea industry, the prosperity of rural industry, accelerate the process of agricultural modernization and improve the living standards of tea farmers.Based on the existing literature research, according to the theory of cost and benefit, risk perception theory and disaster prevention theory, this paper uses the literature analysis method, questionnaire survey method, empirical analysis method, etc.,and uses the comprehensive online + offline farmer questionnaire interview data of the main tea producing areas in Anhui in 2021 to construct a multi-regression linear model and study the impact on tea garden management and production efficiency. The results show that, from the perspective of farmers’ endowment behavior conditions, male tea farmers have a positive impact on production efficiency, and both party members and village cadres have a significant impact on it,and increasing human capital and material capital has a positive impact on the improvement of production efficiency; From the conventional management of tea garden, tea farmers’ introduction of new varieties and adoption of mechanical ploughing have a significant positive impact on production efficiency, while mechanical picking and weeding with herbicides have no significant impact on production efficiency, and the mechanization degree and popularization rate of tea picking and soil ploughing are low.In addition, the popularization rate of organic fertilizer in Anhui tea garden is high, which has a positive impact on tea output efficiency. From the point of view of disaster risk management, preventing disasters in advance is helpful to promote tea farmers’ income.Farmers’ purchase of tea garden insurance failed the significance test, but increasing tea farmers’ training times has a positive effect on tea production efficiency. Therefore, this paper proposes to strengthen the infrastructure construction of mountain village tea areas, introduce and develop advanced supporting mechanization equipment, and promote the mechanization process of tea gardens.Tea farmers are encouraged to cooperate with enterprises, tea professional cooperatives and other parties,so as to enhance the ability of production and marketing cooperation and promote the diversification of the organizational structure of the tea industry. In addition,we should increase the investment in human and material capital, increase the rural basic education and training expenditure, expand the risk propaganda path, raise the awareness of risk prevention and control of tea farmers, encourage tea farmers to buy tea garden insurance, resist disaster losses, guarantee and promote the tea production efficiency, and promote the high-quality and healthy development of Anhui tea industry.
