Over the years,with the rapid development of my country’s economy,problems such as the exhaustion of resources,serious pollution of water resources,and deterioration of the ecological environment have become more and more serious,and the concept of green development has emerged at the historic moment.Green development is based on balancing the contradiction between development needs and the limited supply of natural resources and energy,and is conducive to helping solve the current outstanding problems in ecological and environmental protection in order to achieve sustainable development.Green development is not only a requirement for urban development,but also a new path for rural development.In view of this,the party and the state have issued a series of documents and regulations on the realization of the green development path,determined to apply the concept of green development to all aspects of people’s production and life,and to achieve sustainable development and high-quality development.Agricultural and rural development in Jiangsu Province must closely follow the requirements of national policies.However,at present,the theoretical system of agricultural and rural green development in Jiangsu Province is still incomplete.How to fundamentally realize the sustainable development of agricultural and rural areas in Jiangsu Province and complete the transformation of agricultural and rural areas in Jiangsu Province Upgrading has attracted much attention from the industry,so the research on rural green development in Jiangsu Province has practical significance.Based on the above background and significance,this paper uses the panel data of13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu Province from 2009 to 2018 as a sample,and first constructs Jiangsu from the four dimensions of agricultural economic greening,rural social development,resource and environmental carrying capacity,and government green support.The provincial rural green development indicator system uses the entropy method and the weighted sum method to calculate the sub-dimension index and the total index,and analyzes the various dimensions and the overall level of rural green development;secondly,it is the influence factors on the level of rural green development in Jiangsu Province.In the research,first select relevant influencing factors theoretically,and then analyze the impact of factors such as ecological environment,industrial structure,technological innovation,education,energy structure,etc.on the level of rural green development in Jiangsu Province by constructing a random-effect panel data model.Finally,based on empirical evidence The analysis results put forward effective countermeasures and suggestions.The results of the study found that the level of rural green development in Jiangsu Province has steadily improved year by year from 2009 to 2018,and the development momentum is good,but there are obvious regional differences,and the overall level of rural green development in Jiangsu Province is not high.Through the regression results of the random effect panel data model,it is found that the ecological environment factor is the first influencing factor to promote the level of green development in rural areas.The industrial structure has different degrees of impact on rural green development in various regions.Technological innovation can promote rural green development.Educational factors have an impact on rural green development.Green development has a lagging effect,and the energy structure hinders green development.Finally,based on the above-mentioned empirical analysis results,it is pointed out that the green development of rural areas in Jiangsu Province should be adapted to local conditions,and relevant countermeasures and suggestions are put forward in terms of innovating green technologies,reducing resource consumption,adjusting energy structure,and improving education levels.
