Abstract/Summary:
As of 2019,it is only 59.1% of the mechanization rate of sugarcane industry in China,with a large room for improvement.The traditional planting methods of sugarcane are real-time cutting and vertical planting.These kinds of planting methods have high labor intensity and is easy to hurt the bud,which leads to low budding rate and affects the sugarcane harvest.Vertical planting leads to the low lodging resistance of sugarcane,which brings great difficulties to the later harvest.According to the construction requirements of the “double-high”,the technology of pre-cut transversal planting can effectively improve the germination rate and lodging resistance of sugarcane.In this paper,according to the transverse planting requirements of improved breeding of sugarcane varieties,based on the firstgeneration planter studied by the research group,the improved design of seed metering device was carried out aiming at the problems in the early field test.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1.This paper introduces the structure and working principle of the first generation seed metering device and the structural problems of the first generation seed metering are analyzed including the problems of cane box,the problems of cane slot of elevator chain and the layout of second conveyor chain by analyzing the problems caused by field experiments.2.Aiming at the above problems,the improved design of seed metering device was carried out:(1)As for the disorder of cane seeds in the cane box,a cane board was set between cane box and cane slots to reduce the space of contact between sugarcane and cane slots and to reduce the occurrence of disorderly sugarcane.(2)For the problem of leakage and replanting,the structure of sugarcane slot was improved to enhance the filling capacity of cane slot.(3)For the problems of transferred sugarcanes replanting in the primary and secondary chain,The layout of the secondary chain was redesigned with the vertical layout of the secondary chain and the cane slots of the secondary chain were also redesigned.3.The seed metering device was modeled and ADAMS simulation analysis shows that: The distance between the top of the cane slot and the top of the cane board、the distance between the top of the cane board and the bottom of the cane box and the average seeding speed have significant influence to the qualified rate of seeding.4.Experiment researches are taken on the self-made sugarcane seed metering test platform.The relationship between the qualified rate of seeding and L1 and L2 and S were explored.The optimal length of sugarcane seeds was explored.The qualified rate of seeding increased with L1 and L2’s increasing at first and decreased at last.The single factor test of dropping points and qualified rate of seeding angle showed that the dropping points would be more concentrated with the increase of seeding speed,the qualified rate of cane angle would also increase.The qualified rate of sugarcane’s convey from primary chain to secondary chain decreased with the increasing of seeding speed,but the overall pass rate was more than 96%.L1 and L2 and S have no interaction.The orthogonal test results showed the qualified rate of seeding was 95.67%,the leakage rate is 4.33% and no replanting occurred during the experiment.The results of field test showed that the pass rate of sugarcane in the cane box and the primary chain was 93.75%,which was met the design requirements.
