Wuzhi county is a large agricultural county,is also a large farming county,especially pig breeding has been from the beginning of household sideline production status quickly promoted to the rural economy of the pillar industries.Wuzhi county of pig breeding industry,however,mainly small and medium-sized pig farms,after 2018 years of African swine fever,nearly 90% of the small and medium-sized pig farms were hit by a devastating had to choose to temporarily closed.The outbreak has also exposed many problems in the management of these small and medium-sized pig farms.In the documents and information collected in this paper,on the basis of comprehensive,adopt the method of combination of questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation,the comprehensive survey of wuzhi county industry development present situation,through the SWOT analysis method,the wuzhi county middle and small pig farms of strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats for system analysis,from the aspects of production management,production facilities,production technology and policy and so on to find out main problems of restricting wuzhi county small and medium-sized pig farm development: production management,management of aquaculture concepts backward,lack of scientific immune system,lack of standard disinfection process and the lack of concept of veterinary drug use;In terms of production facilities,the pig farm site selection is improper,the pig farm internal layout is unreasonable,the site equipment is backward,the production and management is scattered and the environmental protection measures are insufficient.In terms of production technology,the number of breeding sows is small,the ability to resist risks is poor,and the investment of funds is insufficient.In terms of policy,the local government’s enthusiasm for supporting the pig industry is not high and the pressure for environmental protection is too great.In view of these problems,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.In terms of production management,farmers should strengthen the study and communication,strengthen the implementation of scientific immunization,standard disinfection of pig farms,and correct use of veterinary drugs;In terms of production facilities,scientific site selection,reasonable layout planning,comprehensive supporting measures for pig raising,active participation in the breeding mode of "company + farmer" and cooperative,and strengthening environmental protection;In terms of production technology,we should increase the number of breeding sows and piglets,do a good job in disease prevention and control and large-scale breeding,and increase the amount of investment appropriately.In terms of production policies,local governments are encouraged to actively support the development of the pig industry and standardize the treatment of pig manure.Improve the overall efficiency and anti-risk ability of pig breeding industry in Wuzhi County and promote its development.
