Pricing Study Of Container Road Transport And Public Rail Intermodal Transport Considering Railway Discounts

At present,the cargo transportation system continues to improve,the container transportation industry develops rapidly,the pricing of container road transport is more flexible,because the railway transportation reform has not been fully rolled out,its freight rate mechanism is relatively fixed,resulting in the slow development of railway container transportation,container public railway intermodal transport system is blocked.Although the railway department has achieved some results in the unified pricing of container trains,there are also many shortcomings.Therefore,in the fierce competition of multiple container transportation modes,how to reasonably price to enhance the competitiveness of container transportation in the freight market is still an urgent problem to be solved.Therefore,this paper takes container transportation pricing as the research object,analyzes the current situation of container transportation pricing,and compares the commonly used methods of container transportation pricing.By analyzing the factors affecting the shipper’s choice of transportation mode,the economic,timeliness and safety factors affecting the freight cost are quantified,and the freight sharing rate of the container is calculated by using the Logit model.When constructing the revenue function of container shipping enterprises,the cost of container road transportation and the cost of public railway combined transport considering container railway discounts are calculated separately.Then,the generalized transportation cost function of the cargo owner is constructed,and a two-layer planning model is established for maximizing the income of the transportation enterprise and the lower layer is the minimum generalized transportation cost of the cargo owner.The sensitivity analysis method is used to solve the model,the optimal price strategy and corresponding transportation scheme are obtained,the model is verified by the container transportation pricing of Dalian-Tongliao,and the impact of railway container discounts on pricing,transportation enterprise income and cargo owners’ expenditure is compared and analyzed,and the rationality of the model is verified.This study can provide certain theoretical guidance for container transportation pricing,help container shipping enterprises set reasonable prices,and better adapt to market demand and development trends.The railway container discount policy is formulated to attract customers and improve the market competitiveness of railway transportation,but due to the lack of policy implementation,it has not fully played its role.Through the research of this paper,we can promote the implementation and implementation of policies,enhance the competitiveness of container transportation,promote the development of container public railway combined transport,and improve the transportation efficiency of containers.
