With the continuous development of international trade,it also stimulates the development of international and domestic multimodal transport.Under the multiple pressures of the growing volume of trade in goods, increasingly serious environmental pollution, and the severe situation of COVID-19,port congestion, industrial layout adjustment and upgrading, and the implementation of the national dual carbon strategy have promoted the rapid development of multimodal transport in China. However,at present, there are some practical problems in China’s inland multimodal transport system, such as resource mismatch and supply and demand mismatch. Therefore, based on the perspective of supply-demand matching and considering the selection behavior of shippers, this thesis studies the network collaborative layout and pricing optimization in inland multimodal transport system. The main work and innovations of this thesis are as follows:Firstly, the cooperative layout of inland multimodal transport network is studied from the strategic perspective.A 0-1 mixed integer programming model with the goal of minimizing the total cost including penalty cost is constructed to optimize the layout of container handling stations and the distribution of container traffic in the network.Taking the collaborative layout of multimodal transport network in Hunan Province as an example,an empirical study is carried out to verify the effectiveness of the optimization model.Secondly, from the operational level, the competition and cooperation game between inland river ports and dry ports in inland multimodal transport system is studied, and the corresponding Bertrand pricing game model is constructed.Considering the shipper’s route choice behavior,Logit model is used to describe the shipper’s preference on transportation cost, time and service.Based on the case study of the above decision model,it is found that cooperation is beneficial to both the inland river port and the dry port, and the operation of the intra-port rail line can significantly improve the profit level of the inland river port. Finally, the influence of government incentive measures on optimal subsidy and pricing of different stakeholders in multimodal transport system under multi-party game is further studied.Considering the government’s investment subsidies for inland river ports and dry ports, different scenarios are set.The government determines the subsidies with the goal of maximizing social welfare, the inland river port and dry port determine price and competition and cooperation relationship with the goal of maximizing profit and the shippers choose transportation routes based on the maximum utility. The decision-making results of the three affect each other. It is found that the cooperation between inland river ports and dry ports is most stimulated when the government simultaneously subsidizes them, but the higher the government subsidy is not always the better. The research of this thesis has a certain theoretical value and practical significance for the network coordination layout and operation optimization of inland multimodal transport system, and provides a reference for the decision-making of the government management department, the operators of inland ports and shippers in the multimodal transport system.
