Research On The Application Of Virtual Reality Technology In The Protection Of Historical And Cultural Blocks

With the rapid development of urban and rural construction in China and the rapid improvement of the economy,many cities have embarked on large-scale urban renewal,Including the old city reconstruction,urban demolition and other measures,the city has entered the high-speed modernization development period.Excessive modernization inevitably results in the destruction of a great deal of cultural heritage,As an important research content of cultural heritage,historical and cultural blocks are losing their characteristics of historical heritage.In recent years,with the enhancement of the awareness of heritage protection around the world,people gradually realize the value of historical and cultural blocks and the importance of protecting and inheriting them.With the gradual improvement of relevant theories of cultural heritage protection and the increasing maturity of relevant technologies,the protection of historical and cultural blocks has ushered in a new era of opportunities.However,the protection of historical and cultural blocks in China has not long started,and there are many problems such as lack of experience and inadequate combination of theory and technology.It is still necessary for the whole society to make joint contributions to explore our own protection and inheritance road.As a famous historical and cultural city,Qingdao has a high historical connotation and cultural value.Therefore,this thesis chooses the historical and cultural block of Zhongshan Road,which has a very representative historical and cultural value in Qingdao,as the research object.This thesis analyzes the development history and existing problems in the protection status of Qingdao Zhongshan Road historical and cultural block,and summarizes the necessity,significance and dilemma of the application of virtual reality in the protection of Zhongshan Road by combining application research analysis and field investigation.Using the interdisciplinary research method and the immersive theory of virtual reality as the theoretical research method,the theoretical research framework is constructed.On this basis,the principle and implementation way of virtual block are elaborated,and the practical scheme of block protection by using virtual reality technology is summarized.Finally,virtual reality technology is used to realize the virtual presentation of Qingdao Zhongshan Road block.It is expected to realize the harmonious development of urban cultural heritage and urban modernization construction,provide new methods and means for the protection of historical and cultural blocks,promote the process of digital protection of historical and cultural blocks,and provide new ideas and reference experience for the further development of the application of virtual reality technology.
