The construction of engineering projects still encounters issues like inefficient construction organization,excessive energy and resource consumption,cost overruns,and missed deadlines,even as the engineering construction field continues to develop and expand and,to some extent,supports the growth of the social economy.This paper proposes a study on the use of resource management in the planning of engineering projects.Implementing resource optimization in the engineering project network plan has become essential for putting engineering project management’s fundamental component of resource management into practice.The article examined the issue of "fixed schedules and balanced resources." In this paper,after fully understanding the background and status of engineering projects and their research significance in implementing resource optimization in network planning,we propose to implement multi-resource optimization research in engineering project network planning and use the particle swarm algorithm to solve the multi-resource optimization model to achieve the purpose of overall resource balance.The following are the primary research questions for this essay:The article firstly starts from the theory of single-resource optimization problem,determines the idea of transforming multiple objectives into single objectives to establish a multi-resource optimization objective model,and establishes the objective function with variance evaluation index;secondly,establishes the resource importance evaluation index system-cost importance index,work importance index and total time difference importance index,and by Then,the gray correlation clustering method was applied to analyse the relevance of resources,so as to optimize the resource categories and determine the comprehensive weight of resource categories,so as to simplify the multi-resource optimization model;and then,based on the Afterwards,the multi-resource equilibrium is optimized based on the particle swarm optimization,which takes into account the temporal and logical relationships of activities to optimize the actual start time of activities,uses linearly decreasing inertia weights to enhance the search ability of particles in space,and rounds off the speed evolution formula;finally,two practical cases of different scales are selected for validation analysis,and the optimization results are relatively satisfactory,achieving the overall resource equilibrium The optimization results are more satisfactory,achieving the goal of overall resource balance and being able to provide decision makers with different schedule solutions with the same resource intensity variance.This paper establishes a multi-resource equilibrium optimization model using resource importance evaluation and resource correlation analysis and proposes to solve the model with particle swarm optimization.The optimization results of the example show that the overall relative balance of resources is achieved,and the resources not involved in the optimization also reach relative balance,thus verifying that the measure of approximately reducing the types of resources is feasible and also demonstrating the effectiveness of the algorithm in solving the optimization problem of resource balance,which has specific reference value for practical engineering.
