The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee put forward the long-term goal of building a sports power in 2035.In the new journey of building a socialist modern power in an all-round way,the importance of physical fitness has become increasingly prominent.In response to the call of national fitness,the number of female fitness groups is increasing day by day,and the aesthetics of fitness is gradually changing.Therefore,how to give full play to the functional advantages of products and adapt to the current female fitness users is a problem worthy of study.Firstly,this paper defines the concept of the research object of the affordance theory,focusing on the literature research on women’s fitness products,design evaluation process and the application of entropy method.Collecting the subjective intention of female fitness groups,according to the operating environment of gym equipment,analyzing the functional requirements of users for products,and applying the affordance theory to the design of female fitness products.Summarize the research attributes of the design method for affordance,and optimize the design based on the existing products.Secondly,the demand of female fitness users is investigated and summarized,and the development status of fitness products is sorted out.Analyze the category characteristics of products and summarize the cognitive characteristics of common actions in training.The influencing factors of user characteristics are collected,and the existing limitations in product design are analyzed.Research on the application of relevance affordance theory in product design,summarizing user needs and product functions,constructing FTIM Function-Task Interaction Matrix,and outputting affordance interaction set.Analyze the mapping relationship between design elements,and study the feature attributes to provide design strategies for product optimization.Finally,based on the product attribute classification of affordance theory,the key features of affordance interaction set are extracted and the training tasks of operators are subdivided.Establish the load coefficient value of principal component factor,summarize the perceptual intention vocabulary in product form,and explore the product scheme after design optimization.Finally,the index weight of the scheme is compared with the existing products to verify the feasibility of the design strategy guided by the affordance theory.According to the previous theoretical research,this paper applies the affordance theory to the optimal design of women’s fitness products,and realizes the transformation process from user demand analysis to product function decomposition.It is helpful to improve the usability of products.Through design practice,the design method of affordance theory is studied and its feasibility is verified,which provides reference for the design and research of female fitness products.
