Historical District Renewal Based On The Perspective Of Spatial Justice

With the development of the policy of "stock renewal",the renewal of historical and cultural block s has once again become the main resource in urban renewal.However,at present,the renewal of hi storical blocks is gradually elitist and gentrification.The original city life is deprived,and the renewal of historical blocks gradually evolves into consumption blocks with historical features.This thesis focus es on how to embody the people-oriented design values and build a livable and settled historic district.F rom the perspective of space production,the thesis interprets space justice,obtains the characteristic s and connotation of space justice,establishes the theoretical connection between the theory of space j ustice and the renewal of historical and cultural blocks and the multi-level renewal strategy,forms targ eted multi-level renewal strategy on this basis,carries out the renovation and renewal design practice of blocks,promotes sustainable development and focuses on the development of people.The research results are as follows:(1)This paper interprets spatial justice,obtains the characteristics and connotation of spatial justice,finds out the adaptability and importance of spatial justice theory and historical district renewal,and pro poses the possibility of historical district renewal method based on spatial justice.(2)Taking the historical and cultural street space of Pingjiang as a sample,this thesis analyzes it fr om the perspectives of integration,synergy and symbiosis through the analysis of space syntactics and interviews combined with literature data,and makes a quantitative analysis from the two perspectives of the whole area of Suzhou Ancient City as well as its own internal street texture and form.It is conclu ded that it has maintained the residential spatial function since the Song Dynasty.The residents living in the block,their life style and social relations are the power to promote the sustainable production of t he block space.(3)Three streets with good integration and synergy,typical street characteristics and spatial contex t are selected as sample Spaces.The renovation design practice is carried out from three perspectives of system,material space and social space.The goal is to create community places and establish conveni ent and safe neighborhood space,and the space justice framework is followed.It advocates the multi-s ubject perspectives of government,enterprises,social subjects,streets and designers,adheres to t he people-oriented principle,and updates and improves the physical environment space and social rela tions arrangement for space nodes,so as to build a street space with residents’ autonomy and neighbor s’ harmony.
