In recent years,with the rapid growth of car ownership,road congestion,traffic safety and other problems have become increasingly serious.Autonomous driving technology has become a hot spot to solve road congestion due to its advantages of shorter following distance,smaller front time distance and more stable speed control.However,it takes some time for the promotion and acceptance of technology,and the mixed state of traditional driving and autonomous driving will exist for a long time.As an important node of the urban road traffic network,the signal intersection undertakes the task of collecting and diverting the traffic flow from all directions and various characteristics.The mixed running condition of motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles at the intersection directly affects the overall traffic benefit of the road.However,few existing studies of automatic-traditional driving vehicle hybrid traffic flow consider non-motorized participation.Non-motorized vehicle flow is an important part of China’s traffic.It is more practical to consider the automatic-traditional driving vehicle mixed traffic flow,and it has certain research value.This paper focuses on the influence of autonomous driving on the non-mixed traffic flow of urban intersections,sets the simulation scene according to the road specification,and uses VISSIM software to build the typical urban plane cross intersection,realizing the simulation of autonomous driving-traditional driving-non-motor vehicle hybrid traffic flow at the intersection.The study of the influence of mixed traffic circulation capacity with different traffic volumes and the influence of non-motor vehicle flow on intersections is conducted under different autonomous driving permeability rates.Based on the traffic simulation data of VISSIM software,the evaluation index of traffic benefit is output,and the comprehensive evaluation of traffic benefit is used,showing the change law of traffic benefit of non-mixed intersections with different traffic volume under the influence of automatic driving.The study shows that(1)autonomous driving has a significant effect on the capacity of mixed traffic flow at intersections,including autonomous driving in medium and high traffic,and not obvious at low flow.(2)With the improvement of the automatic driving penetration rate,all the evaluation indexes of the intersections have been improved.In the case of a certain flow of non-motor vehicles,autonomous driving has the most significant impact on the indicators of left-turn vehicles,in which the average travel time decreased by 28.2% and the average speed increased by 26.53%.(3)The increase in the number of non-motor vehicles will significantly reduce the capacity of intersections,which has the greatest impact on the capacity of right-turned motor vehicles.The average delay time of right-turning motor vehicles increases as high as 805.1%,the average travel time increases as high as 116.39%,and the average speed of right-turning motor vehicles decreases by 53.82%.(4)Under different non-motor vehicle flow rates,autonomous driving has a more significant impact on the indicators of right-turned motor vehicles,in which the average travel time decreased by39.96%,the average delay time decreased by 64.08%,and the average speed increased by66.67%.(5)Autonomous driving can effectively improve the comprehensive traffic benefit of intersections,and the influence curve of the permeability of autonomous driving on the comprehensive traffic benefit is consistent with the results of the mixed traffic flow simulation.With the increase of automatic driving permeability,the traffic benefit of non-hybrid intersection is increasing steadily.At the same time,the average delay time,average travel time and average motor vehicle speed are the main factors affecting the traffic efficiency of intersections.The research conclusion can provide reference for the study of automatic driving on the intersection capacity in the non-mixed environment,and it is of great significance to improve the road capacity.
