Nowadays,in a century of change,the global economic and trade pattern keeps accelerating evolution,which makes the shipping industry accelerate reform.As an indispensable piloting role,piloting ship’s resistance and seakeeping performance can be directly related to piloting work.In order to improve the speed and seaworthiness of Chinese coastal piloting traffic ship,a new type of X-BOW high-speed piloting ship is introduced in this thesis,and its resistance and seaworthiness are studied.The aim is to find a more suitable piloting ship with better performance.First,a single pilot ship is selected as the mother ship,and its bow is changed to design the X-BOW bow on the premise that the waterline length,width,depth and design draft remain unchanged.In order to be able to compare with the mother ship,the volume of drainage at the design draft and the longitudinal coordinates of the center of buoyancy are basically the same as that of the mother ship.By changing the bow column dip Angle and slope Angle of X-BOW piloting traffic ship,NAPA software was used to establish and check the model,and 9 X-BOW piloting traffic ship type series schemes were generated.Secondly,STAR-CCM+ software was used to explore the feasible numerical method of static water resistance.On the basis of this,numerical simulation was carried out on the mother ship and nine X-BOW piloting traffic ships.Different speeds were set to obtain the static water and wave resistance,pitch and heave motion response at each speed,and the resistance difference between waves and static water conditions was compared.According to the data obtained,the effects of bow column dip Angle and slope Angle on the resistance and seakeeping performance of piloting ship are analyzed and compared with that of the mother ship.Finally,compound weight evaluation is carried out according to the simulation results.Standing on the subjective and objective point of view,order relation method and entropy weight method are used to determine its weight,and then they are combined into a weighted comprehensive evaluation matrix,and the optimal scheme of X-BOW piloting traffic ship is determined by the obtained values.This thesis combines pilot traffic ship with X-BOW to form X-BOW traffic ship type,and carries out a preliminary study on the influence of bow Angle and slope Angle on resistance and seakeeping performance of this kind of ship type,and provides a reference for further improving the performance of pilot traffic ship and related research.
