Photovoltaic cells are an important means of efficiently utilizing solar energy,an infinite green energy source.In the production and marketing of photovoltaic cells and their modules,PV modules testing technology can classify and utilize PV modules to maximize utilization,and also provide data reference for further optimization of PV module production technology.In response to the fact that traditional photovoltaic cell module test systems are expensive,single measurable components and do not accurately calculate the five unknown parameters inside the battery assembly,the following research is carried out.Firstly,based on the analysis of photovoltaic modules and their testing technology,a high precision and multi-range photovoltaic module test scheme based on variable electronic load is proposed.Secondly,a multi-range hardware circuit was designed to meet the testing needs of different types of PV modules under test,and the experimental demonstration of the feasibility and reliability of the hardware circuit design.Aiming at the difficulty of solving the output characteristic equations of PV modules directly,an adaptive chaotic white whale optimization algorithm(ACBWO)is proposed to improve the speed and accuracy of the optimization search and to calculate the performance parameters with high accuracy,based on the analysis of the accuracy problems of the traditional analytical calculation methods and the shortcomings of the traditional optimization algorithms which are easily limited into local optimum.Finally,the installation and commissioning of the hardware circuit,the programming and coding of the system software,the commissioning and testing of the system were completed,basically meeting the functional requirements of the users.By comparing and analysing the data measured by the same component under measurement with the standard test facility,the open channel voltage and short circuit current errors measured by this test system are less than 1%,and the performance instability of the analogue light source is less than 2%.The system has proven to be stable and highly accurate,and it can satisfy the detection requirements of a wide range of PV modules,which has a wide application prospect and practical value,and provides a reference for further research of PV module testers.
