As one of the pillar industries of our national economy,the construction industry plays a vital role in the economic and social development.Its long-term development and scale have brought huge market space to the construction template industry.Coupled with the rapid development of urbanization in China,the domestic building template industry will show a rapid development trend in the market demand.The huge market has attracted the entry of many building template enterprises.On the one hand,the increase of competitors brings the development and progress of the industry technology,on the other hand,it also increases the market survival pressure of single enterprises and causes the change of the development environment of the industry.S Company is an enterprise with architectural template products as its main business.In recent years,the internal and external development environment of the company has undergone significant changes,and the original development strategy of the company is difficult to continue to support the maintenance of its competitive advantages and the acquisition of new competitive advantages.Under the current diversified development strategy,S company has the following problems: weak product innovation,great pressure on product market sales,declining product profit rate and weakening brand competitiveness.This thesis analyzes the causes of S company’s development problems,including the company’s emphasis on product quantity rather than product innovation,the dispersion of resources and insufficient research and development to weaken the technical advantages of product marketing,the rapid increase of production and sales costs and the decrease of product profits,and the lack of brand aggregation to promote the construction of well-known brand image.Based on PEST model,this thesis further analyzes the macro development environment faced by S Company through the political,economic,social and technological environment,and summarizes the opportunities and challenges faced by the construction template industry combined with the market environment and development trend.Furthermore,the internal resources and capabilities of S company are analyzed,and the advantages and disadvantages of S company are summarized.In addition,with the help of SWOT matrix,four alternative transformation strategies are proposed for S company.Subsequently,the IE matrix is used to determine the direction of the company’s transformation to growth strategy.After determining the new transformation strategy of S Company,in order to promote the implementation of the strategy,this thesis puts forward the following measures: improve the R&D ability to promote product innovation,strengthen the marketing ability to expand customer groups,develop intelligent manufacturing to improve the comprehensive profit rate of products,and concentrate resources to build a unified brand of the enterprise.This thesis puts forward the guarantee system for the implementation of the new strategy from four aspects: perfecting the organization guarantee,strengthening the fund guarantee,building a high-quality team and paying attention to the construction of corporate culture.Future research on strategic transformation of architectural template enterprises should clearly assess the bottleneck of industry development,further strengthen the analysis of internal and external environment of enterprises,so as to provide support for enterprises to determine scientific development strategic transformation plan. |
