Research On The Aging Strategy Of Rural Solitary Elderly Housing Space Under The Mode Of Home Care

With the rapid and high-quality development of Chinese society and the acceleration of population aging,the country’s emphasis on elderly care has greatly increased,and the quality of life requirements for elderly people are also constantly improving.The elderly population in China has a large scale,rapid development speed,and uneven geographical distribution,especially in rural areas where the degree of aging is higher than in cities.Therefore,the issue of elderly care in rural areas should be given special attention.The development of urbanization has led to the continuous loss of young and middle-aged population in rural areas,and the proportion of elderly people in rural areas continues to grow.At the same time,the proportion of elderly people living alone is also increasing,which has led to increasing pressure on the elderly population in China.Against this backdrop,this article proposes a home based elderly care model as a way of providing for the elderly,in order to improve the quality of life and level of care for the elderly living alone in rural areas in China,and thereby enhance their self-care and living abilities.This paper selects Tangshan Town,Huantai County,Zibo City,Shandong Province as the research area.In response to the difficulties in elderly care in rural residential spaces and living environments in China,the research goal is to update the aging adaptation of rural self housing for elderly people living alone.Relevant theoretical research and learning have been conducted around home care,elderly people living alone,and the design of aging adaptation for residential housing,extracting experience applicable to rural home care in this article.By conducting research and induction on the physiological,psychological,and behavioral characteristics of elderly people living alone in rural areas,we have sorted out the physiological and psychological changes and behavioral patterns of elderly people living alone in rural areas,and proposed requirements for the aging and renewal of residential spaces that can meet the needs of elderly people living alone in rural areas,such as safety,respect,and self-worth enhancement.Conduct a survey on the living conditions and residential space of rural solitary elderly people in Tangshan Town,Zibo City,summarize the current situation and problems of residential space,as well as the contradiction between the current problems and elderly care in the residential space of solitary elderly people in Tangshan Town.Propose a suitable aging renewal strategy for residential spaces that meet the needs of elderly care in rural areas,based on the hierarchy of needs for elderly living alone.In terms of material life,meet the safety of elderly care and increase the details of aging adaptation;Improve the communication and communication space in residential areas in terms of spiritual life,and meet the emotional needs of elderly people living alone;In terms of cultural life,improve the environmental atmosphere and living quality of residential buildings.And simulate and apply the proposed strategy to explore its feasibility.Through the research in this article,it is hoped that from the perspective of architecture,the elderly living alone in rural areas can be improved in terms of the living space environment for elderly care.Therefore,based on existing literature,this article summarizes the core needs for elderly care activities in one’s own residence under the home-based elderly care model for the elderly living alone;Explored the current situation of residential space use and residential needs of elderly people living alone in rural areas of Tangshan Town;Proposed a strategy for adapting the aging of residential space for rural elderly living alone in Tangshan Town area;A typical case study was conducted to simulate and apply the strategy,and the feasibility of the strategy was discussed.Provide ideas for the residential renovation of rural elderly living alone in other regions of China.
