In 2018,Shudao officially became a member of the tentative list of the world’s natural and cultural heritage. As one of the northern lines of Shu Road, the Baoxiaodao branch line has the largest number and rich distribution of ancient Yidao sites, which is an important line carrying major events in military history.Starting from the concept of "cultural route" and following the logical thinking of "problem posing-theoretical discussion-analysis-solution",this paper takes the protection and development of the traditional village of Baoxie Post Station as the research object, and develops the following four aspects:1.Explore the theoretical basis: analyze the theoretical connotation of "cultural line",and propose a continuous protection mode guided by cultural line.In terms of theory, taking the cultural route as the starting point,it has certain theoretical guiding significance for the protection of traditional villages, which can make the protection of traditional villages more targeted,so as to achieve the balance of protection, development, inheritance and other different levels. From the whole and individual levels, the paper puts forward the idea of traditional village protection and development from the perspective of cultural line, thus laying the theoretical basis for the paper;2.Research the current situation and characteristics of the area: based on a large number of historical data and documentary materials, combined with on-site investigation, analyze the line identification of the post road and the historical evolution process of the post station type traditional villages along the line, summarize the spatial morphological characteristics, constituent elements and influencing factors of the traditional villages developed from the post station along the line under the influence of the post road, and summarize the following contents: 1)Villages at the fork of the road intersection often develop in the form of clumpy space;2)The linear village develops linearly along the post road, which is closely connected to the river valley;3)Branchlike villages mostly appear in flat and open terrain in river valleys, and have spatial form guiding elements other than post roads;4)Scattered villages are mostly located in ravines or places with high altitudes, and there is no formation law because there is no water source or road guidance constraint.3..Problem analysis and strategic suggestions: summarize the current difficulties faced by the protection and development of ancient road villages, take the problem as the guide, put forward the protection and development framework at the two levels of the overall line and the individual village, and finally put forward the strategy of "building a point-line-surface linkage system" from the overall level of the line, and put forward the development strategy of the village from the perspective of the historical and cultural protection and social and economic development of the village from the individual level; On the one hand, the research is an important supplement to the overall research on the spatial form of the traditional post-station villages along the Praise Ramp.On the other hand, the research on the post-station villages along the post-road is the foundation and supplement to the specialized historical research on ancient military, political, economic and other fields, and has important academic value.
