Research On The Improvement Of Document Operation Process Of KL International Freight Forwarder Company

KL international freight forwarder company has NVOCC status and can issue house bills of lading to customers for ocean import and export on the company’s own behalf.The company is working to provide specialized logistics documentary and data processing services for the group’s subsidiaries.In recent years,with the development of international economic integration,the profit space of international trade business has been continuously compressed and the market competition has become more and more fierce.In this context,in order to achieve the sustainable development of the enterprise,it is necessary to constantly review and criticize itself and to enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise by refining the internal management for effect and profit.Through the study of value chain method,combined with literature research method,case study method and interview method,this paper exhaustively analyzes the reality of the document operation process of KL international freight forwarder company,and comes to the basic activity links of document operation,which are document production,information transmission and communication,information retention and billing processing links.To describe the current situation of these four links,find the problems,analyze the causes,design the improvement plan and construct the implementation guarantee measures and effect evaluation.This paper expands the use of enterprise value chain theory,and is an attempt to apply the theory in the improvement of the documentary operation process of international freight forwarder enterprises.At the same time,it proposes an improvement plan for each link of the documentary operation process of KL international freight forwarder company in terms of adjustment of operation steps,improvement of shipping system,creation of document management system,and adjustment of the role of documentary clerks to increase the correct rate of bills of lading and improve the quality of documentary work.Through the improvement of the documentary operation process,it will play an active role in the overall development of the company.
