Research On Landscape Improvement Design Of Public Space In Old Urban Areas Based On Spatial Disorder Theory

At present,the pace of urbanization in China is accelerating,China’s current urban construction mode has gradually shifted from the stage of incremental construction to the stage of stock renewal,and the current situation of Chinese society has also changed from the contradiction between the people’s growing material and cultural needs and backward social production to the contradiction between the people’s growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and insufficient development.It is in this context that the planning of urban space in China focuses on the optimization of urban spatial structure and high-quality construction,and takes urban space quality as one of the most important goals.However,due to the extensive economic and social construction mode and the rapid development of urbanization in the early stage of China’s economic and social construction,while promoting economic growth,it also inevitably caused a certain degree of damage to the living environment,so that the current spatial quality of the new urban area and the old city is quite different,and the spatial quality of the old city is also lagging behind,and even a series of low-quality environmental problems such as high building density,outdated supporting facilities lack of effective management,and imbalance of spatial layout have appeared.Public landscape space is of great significance for improving urban carrying capacity and affinity,is an important part of urban system,and plays an important role in activating the vitality of urban areas.After nearly 40 years of rapid development,China’s living conditions have been greatly improved,but it is undeniable that a considerable part of the public landscape space still presents spatial disorder such as disorder,dilapidated appearance,and serious lack of infrastructure for some reasons.Through the theory of spatial disorder,this paper studies the low-quality problem of public landscape environment highlighted in urban renewal,reshapes the relationship between the old city and the surrounding environment by adjusting the visual landscape,optimizing the composition of public space,improving public facilities,etc.,and improves the quality of public space,restores and improves the original spatial order,enriches its function and vitality,and puts forward a reference for the future urban space optimization strategy based on the background of stock renewal.
