Research About The Inheritance Of Historical Culture Of Xianyang Nine Gates In Urban Landscape

The Nine Gates are symbols of the ancient city of Xianyang and important historical cultural heritages.They have rich cultural connotation and distinctive regional culture characteristics. The damage for ancient city of Xianyang is especially serious due to the rapid urbanization. The original shape of the whole city is damaged. Its unique personality is disappearing. Meantime, multiply natural and cultural landscapes disappear as well. So researching the history context of the nine gates is significant to the construction of the modern city landscape planning and the review of the history of the city.It is hard to recognize the reminder of the Gate, since the destruction and a renewal of the old city. Historical buildings and public landscape surrounding the Gate has changed, however,in this paper, through the actual investigation, collecting a lot related theory books, through the overall planning of the urban renewal in xianyang project, this paper further will study the historical context of the Xianyang Nine Gates, aims to enhance protection and development of the Gate and city landscape, represent the historical style and features, as a continuation of history context of city landscape.Based on the historic trace of the Nine Gates, this paper will analyze relevant theories both at home and abroad, taking China’s Xianyang Nine Gates as an example, discuss the historic inheritance in the city landscape planning.By constantly ameliorating landscape conservation system, and referring to traditional city landscape construction, we can integrate history context, preserve historic building, redecorate buildings to mirror the history and make a green city. Also specific techniques such as details element can deepen the theory. Hopeful this paper can be an inspiration of the protection of old city and relevant research.
