| The yurt is a unique residential building of the northern nomads,and it is an architectural form produced under the production and lifestyle of living by water and grass.However,as nomads turn to living and settling,the yurts with mobile characteristics have gradually withdrawn from people’s choice.This is mainly due to the higher requirements for space and comfort in sedentary life,and the single space of traditional yurts can no longer meet the needs.Therefore,in the context of modern needs,yurts need to be improved and upgraded to meet the diverse needs of herdsmen for their living environment.This paper analyzes the relationship between the traditional culture carried by yurts and the emotional needs of herdsmen through the investigation of the current situation of grassland living in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the living needs and satisfaction of herdsmen,and finds out the contradiction between the existing living form and future needs and the need for improvement Issues related to grassland residential construction are put forward.The starting point of this study is to improve the quality of life and living comfort of grassland herdsmen.For this reason,taking the modern residential yurt as the research idea,excavating the cultural tradition and structural characteristics of the yurt,and combining modern technology and the characteristics of the grassland human settlement environment,three sets of modern residential yurt design schemes are used to demonstrate its feasibility.Combining the intangible cultural heritage of yurts with the life of modern herdsmen,starting from improving the living comfort of modern herdsmen,exploring the modernization ideas of yurts,and striving to use design innovation to make yurts still able to carry more residents in the future Happiness and warmth. |
