Guilin City Integrated Park Post Occupancy Evaluation Study

Urban integrated park is an indispensable part of urban park green space.It has rich outdoor recreation activities and is an important leisure place for urban residents and foreign tourists.High-quality urban comprehensive parks play an important role in meeting people ’s needs for a better life and building livable cities.With the development of urbanization and social economy,people ’s demand tends to be diversified,and the construction of earlier urban parks is facing a series of problems such as aging facilities and single activity content.Guilin city comprehensive park has the dual attributes of park and scenic spot,which plays an important supporting role in the construction of Guilin world-class tourist city.This study takes Guilin urban comprehensive park as the research object,comprehensively uses POE theory method,constructs the post-use evaluation system of comprehensive park,evaluates the use status of Guilin urban comprehensive park,and puts forward the optimization and promotion countermeasures.First of all,this paper selects three comprehensive parks,Qixing Park,Xiangshan Park and Xishan Park,as the research objects.Combined with relevant research theories and the current situation of the park,this paper analyzes Guilin urban comprehensive park from qualitative and quantitative aspects.Secondly,using the exploratory research method,theoretical deduction method and Delphi method,the accessibility,landscape environment,supporting facilities and park management are set as the first-level indicators,and 27second-level indicators such as the convenience of coming here,the overall landscape of the park,the number and distribution of public toilets,and the environmental health status of the park are respectively formulated to construct the POE evaluation system of urban comprehensive parks.Then,the weight of each index is determined by the expert consultation questionnaire,and the weight value of the criterion layer is ranked from high to low as landscape environment(0.4163)> accessibility(0.3021)> supporting facilities(0.1610)>park management(0.1216).The behavior characteristics,basic information and satisfaction evaluation of park users were analyzed by behavior observation method and questionnaire survey method.The group characteristics of users ’ behavior activities in the three parks were basically the same,and the gender difference of tourists was small.Xiangshan Park had more tourists from other places.Walking,bicycle or electric vehicle were the main modes of transportation for tourists to the three parks.According to the weight of each index of POE system and the satisfaction score of park users,the comprehensive score of the park was ranked as Qixing Park(4.2997)> Xiangshan Park(4.2795)> Xishan Park(4.0139).Guilin urban comprehensive park as a whole reaches a good(S2)level.Users are more satisfied with accessibility and landscape environment,and less satisfied with supporting facilities and park management.Among them,the highest score of the second-level index of Qixing Park is the overall landscape of B4 Park(4.53),and the lowest score is the number and distribution of C13 public toilets(3.82).The highest score of the secondary index of Xiangshan Park is B12 cultural and historical features and urban characteristics.
