With the continuous development of technology,concepts such as Industry 4.0and "Internet Plus" manufacturing have been proposed.Intelligent manufacturing has become a hot topic of concern for manufacturing industries in various countries.Digitization and information-based reform of traditional manufacturing have become inevitable trends.MES(Manufacturing Execution Systems)are widely used in manufacturing enterprises.It is crucial to quickly identify customer needs and reflect them in the production workshop.This change is caused by the shift from a producer-centric market environment to a customer and participant-centric one.In addition,most manufacturing enterprises face pressure to improve overall manufacturing quality,speed,and cost.To better respond to these enormous new challenges,manufacturers need to flexibly configure and improve the manufacturing production workshop.MES is being more widely used.Enterprise and workshop management personnel can monitor the factory’s production status in real-time through MES systems,grasp changes in the factory’s production site,handle production emergencies in a timely manner,and manage people,machines,and materials on the production site,continuously optimizing the production process.At present,due to the obstruction of MES system applications in enterprises and the low efficiency of the process capability detection method for mechanical products,this paper proposes an intelligent MES system and a method for monitoring the quality process capability of mechanical machining products.MES is an important link to promote the intelligentization of production in all aspects.This paper takes the production workshop of Z Company’s steel wire curtain cutting machine components as the research object.The company closely follows the development of core technologies and actively develops highly automated production lines.The main research contents are as follows:1.Analyzing the current status of production scheduling management,key issues,and the reasons for these issues at Z Company,and proposing solutions to address the problem of production status management using MES system.2.Designing the basic functional framework of the MES system to meet the company’s requirements for manufacturing execution system functions,including reading and feedback of production plans(orders),formula transmission and management,production statistics of finished products,Analysis and calculation of process capability index of finished product quality,feedback on equipment operating conditions,monitoring of various parts of equipment status,and querying alarm information.3.Analyzing the various functional modules of the system in detail,discussing the implementation plan and measures for the MES system,and conducting applied research on the application of the MES system in the steel wire curtain cutting machine.
