With its advantages of large capacity,high speed and high reliability,rail transit has become one of the main travel modes of many cities residents in our country.However,there are still some problems in rail transit,such as low network density and low accessibility.Even if it is connected by conventional buses,due to its own conditions such as road width and grade,there is still a service blind area of urban public transport system.Community buses,which are operated by small or medium-sized vehicles,have the advantage of mobility and flexibility.They can provide "door-to-door" travel services,which can not only improve the accessibility of rail transit,but also fill in the service blind area of public transport system.Based on this,this paper makes an in-depth study on the layout method of community bus routes connecting rail transit stations.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Analyze the relevant characteristics of community public transportation.The concept,characteristics and function orientation of community bus are expounded.Based on the practice of community bus system construction in Chongqing,the paper divides the community bus types and explores the characteristics of community bus routes.Analyze the competition and cooperation relationship between community bus and conventional bus,and the connection form between community bus and rail transit under different route layout forms.The influencing factors,principles and procedures of community bus route layout are put forward.(2)Put forward the method of determining the layout area of the community bus route connecting the rail transit station.The characteristics of bus passenger flow and location of rail transit station are analyzed,and the attracting range of rail transit station is quantitatively defined.The two-step mobile search model is constructed,and the travel time of passengers is obtained by using Amap API to calculate the accessibility within the attraction range of rail transit stations.Kriging interpolation method was used for visual analysis to identify the weak area of rail transit service and determine the community bus layout area.(3)Construct a community bus site selection model connecting to the rail transit station.Starting from the whole process of passenger bus travel,the optimal model of station spacing is constructed with the goal of minimizing passenger travel time.The service area is divided according to the constraint of the optimal station spacing,and all passenger flow demand points are covered.The site selection model is constructed with the minimum total distance between all passengers in the service area and the bus station as the goal,and the candidate bus stations are determined.(4)Construction of community bus route layout model connecting rail transit station.A community bus route layout model was constructed with the objectives of minimum passenger travel time cost and maximum number of passengers’ needs satisfied,and constraints such as vehicle capacity limit,line length and actual running speed of vehicles on different roads.NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm was designed according to the characteristics of the model,and the community bus route in the study area was obtained.(5)Taking Qiujiawan Station in Nanan District of Chongqing as the background,the case analysis is carried out,and the community bus route layout method proposed above is applied to plan the community bus route.The results show that the planning scheme can well meet the short distance travel and rail transit connection needs of residents in the region,and effectively fill the weak area of bus service,which verifies the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed method.
