With the development of society,low-carbon and healthy travel methods are becoming more and more popular.In response to the national call for low-carbon travel,more and more people use walking as their main travel method,while greenways are important places for low-carbon and healthy travel.Among them,urban greenways are more suitable for pedestrian activities in terms of specific planning content and environment because they connect the green resources in cities and cover multiple residential areas.Therefore,this article combines the literature research method,field survey method,Delphi method,analytic hierarchy process,and semantic difference method to ultimately select Changchun Greenway Line 2 in Jilin Province as the research object,based on the perspective of pedestrians,to explore the preferences of citizens for the perceived suitability of urban greenway walking environment.Firstly,combining literature review and field research on Changchun Greenway Line 2,factors affecting greenway walking were extracted.AHP method was used to distribute questionnaires to experts to screen and optimize the above factors to obtain final indicators,analyze the weight values of various indicators at all levels,select adjectives to conduct a questionnaire survey on greenway pedestrians using SD method,and obtain the scores of various indicators at all levels after constructing evaluation criteria,The AHP method and SD method are combined to weight the scores and weight values of the above indicators,and the final comprehensive weight value combines the comprehensive preferences of 37 experts and 457 greenway respondents for the greenway walking environment.Secondly,the 27 secondary indicators corresponding to the five criteria layer indicators of urban greenway obtained by AHP method,namely tactile perception suitability,visual perception suitability,olfactory and auditory perception suitability,service perception suitability,and psychological perception suitability,were comprehensively calculated in combination with SD scores,and positive comprehensive scores were obtained for each indicator,including greenway entrance and exit smoothness(4.79),pavement pavement and flatness(3.46),terrain richness(1.01)Landscape sketch color(2.98),plant seasonal change(5.4),plant landscape richness(5.7),signage guidance system(7.57),greenway space green visibility(5.19),greenway sky openness(4.6),air quality(6.38),environmental noise(2.44),aromatic odor perception(2.04),other odor perception(1.52),greenway accessibility(3.66),water supply and drainage facilities(2.4),recreation service facilities(2)Environmental sanitation facilities(1.82),safety assurance facilities(3.2),supporting commercial facilities(0.82),environmental lighting facilities(0.13),walking satisfaction(2.52),cultural atmosphere(1.32),interactive participation(1.31),greenway safety(6.53),greenway comfort(2.78),with a negative value of road slope(-1.26),and greenway accessibility design(-0.55).Finally,combining the analysis of the field survey on Changchun Greenway Line 2 with the research results,the following suggestions for improving the urban greenway in accordance with the principles of systematization,humanization,and uniqueness are proposed:(1)improving tactile perception and adding accessibility design;(2)Improve service perception and add business value;(3)Strengthen interactive participation and enhance the cultural atmosphere;(4)Strengthen supervision and standardize the use of greenways.
