Research On The Protection And Renewal Of Historical Sites In Fuzhou South Park From The Perspective Of Urban Catalysts

Due to its long years of experience,historical sites can effectively showcase the living memories of the people in this urban area to the world.They carry the spiritual aspirations of the local people and have profound and long-term cultural significance.Due to the interference of historical and human factors,the current historical areas present a situation of dilapidated physical space and poor environmental quality in the blocks.The backwardness of public space infrastructure in the blocks and the lack of management systems in the blocks also urgently need to be addressed.Introducing urban catalyst theory into urban planning and design has strong reference significance for the protection and renewal of historical sites.Firstly,due to the applicability of the two concepts in terms of self renewal,historical sites can be preserved while maintaining renewal,achieving sustainability,diversifying through exploring cultural connotations,improving living environments,achieving livability,and attracting investment in the later stages of conservation and renewal work,optimizing the funding chain.Secondly,due to the applicability of both design methods,the linkage effect of activating the inner circle of historical sites is achieved through small-scale and gradual updating of historical sites and flexible and diverse intervention methods.Based on the compatibility between the two,this article provides strategic suggestions for the protection and renewal of historical areas in South Park from the perspective of urban catalysts.This article proposes strategic suggestions for the protection and renewal of historical areas in South Park by introducing urban catalyst theory.Starting from the current situation of the historical areas in South Park,a preliminary analysis of the current situation of the historical areas in South Park is conducted through on-site investigation.Combined with PSPL research method and SD analysis method,qualitative problems are quantified and processed,and it is concluded that the blocks are affected by human factors The erosion of natural factors and long-term lack of effective maintenance are the main reasons for the deterioration of material space and poor environment in the neighborhood.Based on the research findings on the current situation of the neighborhood,the "urban catalyst" strategy is introduced to construct a district catalyst implementation strategy by selecting catalyst carriers for both material and non material spaces within the neighborhood.And use specific catalyst carriers within the block to complete the catalytic effect,such as Lutong Lane,Zuo Gong Guan,Tianhou Palace,etc.After constructing catalytic strategies for individual buildings and street spaces within the block,it can be found that the implementation of catalytic strategies can effectively have a positive impact on the development and revitalization of the block,while also spreading this positive influence to a wider range of surrounding areas.This article conducts research on the protection and renewal of historical sites from the perspective of urban catalysts.By analyzing the catalyst elements within the site,suitable catalyst carriers are selected,and actual design strategies are guided by catalyst carriers such as building units,street and alley spaces,square spaces,and green spaces.The specific analysis of the control and guidance of catalyst effects,as well as the release and feedback of catalyst effects,are illustrated and applied,Based on the research results,the introduction of catalyst theory can improve the physical space of the block and enhance its vitality.At the same time,the practical application of catalyst strategies in the historical areas of South Park can provide a certain degree of experience and reference for other similar historical areas when choosing urban catalyst theory for their protection and renewal research.
