| Project success is a crucial component of the global construction industry. The literature has already investigated a variety of elements that affect project performance. This research aims to examine how project management methodology affects project success. This study examines three characteristics of any project management methodology—having a complete set of components, filling in the gaps, and implementing pertinent components—their impact on project success. With the aid of a research questionnaire, data are gathered from 100 respondents in the Pakistani construction industry for this cross-sectional quantitative study.Using Smart PLS,partial least squares-structural equation modeling is performed to analyze the data. The findings of this study suggest that all three aspects have a favorable influence on project success. Moreover, risk management mediates the link between the success of a project and each of the three project management technique components,Planning,Execution, and Control.Organizational culture modifies the relationship between comprehensive characteristics and project success and fills in any gaps. These findings add to our understanding of the relationship under investigation, and both researchers and practitioners can apply them to increase project success rates in the construction sector. |
