Study On The Environment Design Of The Primate Area Of Hongshan Forest Zoo Based On Ethology

Eight million years ago,human beings appeared on the earth,the blue planet.For tens of millions of years,from eating and drinking blood to slash-and-burn farming,and finally Watt’s steam engine announced the beginning of the industrial age.But the environment of the earth has become full of sores with the development of science and technology.Faced with the severe challenges of climate change,biodiversity loss,desertification and other ecological crises,mankind must follow the concept of sustainable development,foster the awareness that man and nature are a community of life,adhere to the security boundary and bottom line of nature,respect,adapt to and protect nature,and work for a new pattern of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.Guided by the concept of "Building a Community of Human and Natural Life",Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo,Nanjing Peace Forum and first-class universities and disciplines within and outside the United Nations jointly launched the International Joint Practice Camp of Animal Idealists to Build a Community of Human and Natural Life.For professional institutions and universities around the world to collect the implementation of the zoo planning,landscape,venue design and other systematic solutions,through the integration of interdisciplinary,cross-field,cross-border social forces,jointly promote the Hongshan Forest Zoo service system upgrade action,for the survival and development of urban zoos in the new era based on nature solutions.This paper studies the animal behavior theory,takes the animal behavior as the basis,and the Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo as the carrier to study its environment design.Through the theoretical research on animal behavior and urban zoo,the practical research on animal behavior theory in design,and then the design methodology for primate exhibition area in zoo was summarized through practice,and finally the design practice research was guided-the environment design of the primate area of Hongshan Forest Zoo.Through exploring the strategy of zoo environment design under the contemporary new animal protection concept,we can realize the modernization of zoo concept and design,and create a spiritual area environment that takes into account the protection of animal welfare,the realization of educational significance,and the creation of life community.The innovation of this study lies in the use of animal behavior theory to design urban zoos,forming a specific method in the design of urban zoos.The achievements of animal behavior research are of great significance to the long-term and healthy development of animal protection.Future urban zoos should be based on the principles of animal behavior,with the goal of promoting harmony between humans and animals,the environment and the whole natural ecology.
