| The academy is an educational organization developed in ancient China and inherited for thousands of years.It began in Tang Dynasty,flourished in Song Dynasty and ended in Qing Dynasty.It has the functions of lecturing,reading,researching and resting.Academy garden is an important reflection of academy cultural thoughts,and academy garden is different from temple garden,palace garden,private garden and other landscape forms,is a special branch of Chinese classical garden.The combination of academy landscape elements and academy architecture also reflects the Confucian world view of "unity of nature and man",revealing the profound heritage and connotation of traditional Chinese culture.The development of academies in Jiangxi is in the forefront of the development of academies in China,and it is also one of the regions with abundant academy legacy.Although there are not many academies in Linchuan,there are abundant educational achievements in the development history of Linchuan academies,which is the splendid historical and cultural heritage of Linchuan.Taking Bailudong Academy,Xinjiang Academy and Wenfeng Academy and Yangshan Academy in Linchuan as case studies,this paper summarizes the landscape design elements and characteristics of traditional academies in Jiangxi,and analyzes the causes of landscape forms from the source of cultural thought.Finally,all the research results are integrated into the overall planning and design of Linchuan Wanggu Academy,so as to inherit and protect the cultural heritage of Linchuan Academy.Through the in-depth study of traditional academies in Jiangxi Province and the design practice of Wanggu Academy in Linchuan,this paper summarizes the characteristics of academy gardens in site selection,layout,landscape elements and gardening techniques,so as to gain an in-depth understanding of the landscape characteristics and essence of academies and better inherit and develop the spirit and cultural connotation of academies. |
