Abstract/Summary:
In the current rapid development process of the tea economy industry, the characteristics of the six ancient tea mountain settlements in southern Yunnan are facing varying degrees of destruction.Establishing a spatial survey and cognition of tea mountain settlements with feature recognition as the core is the primary task to promote the construction, protection, and high-quality development of settlement culture.Under the constraints of mountainous natural environment and the influence of cultural diversity,a spatial relationship of mutual coupling has been formed between the six ancient tea mountains in southern Yunnan, namely "settlements, ancient post roads, and ancient tea mountains".This paper takes the six ancient tea mountain settlements in southern Yunnan as the research object, analyzes the spatial characteristics of the six ancient tea mountain settlements in different periods through on-site inspections, and analyzes the influencing factors of their changes. It provides information for the protection of cultural relics of the six ancient tea mountain cultural sites and lays a foundation for the research on the protection of ethnic settlements and the protection of ancient tea forest cultural landscape heritage. In the research process, the spatial chronicle method system was integrated into the entire process of spatial research on the ancient tea mountain settlement.Through the processing of oral texts, the migration phenomenon and driving forces of the tea mountain settlement were analyzed.Based on oral surveys and literature analysis, the development process of the six ancient tea mountains was divided into five stages: spiritual decline, early revival, and revival;Summarize the representation of settlement space at different stages from the overall level, network level, and record space level.Starting from the evolution of cultural landscape spatial characteristics, analyze the changes in the spatial characteristics of ancient tea mountain settlements at different periods. At the network level, take the settlements along the ancient post road as the entry point, analyze the distribution characteristics of settlements along the ancient post road, select sample settlements to analyze the evolution of settlement spatial characteristics at different times,Starting from the typical settlement of Yibang Village, analyze the spatial structure, texture, and residential characteristics of Yibang Village, and sort out the historical elements formed during historical changes;Further analysis of the main influencing factors for the evolution of the spatial characteristics of the six ancient tea mountain settlements in different historical stages.Through the analysis of the spatial characteristics of settlements and the sorting out of influencing factors, the following conclusions can be drawn: the spatial characteristics and evolution of the six ancient tea mountain settlements in southern Yunnan have regularity; The dominant factors in the evolution of spatial characteristics of the six ancient tea mountain settlements in different periods have varying patterns;By conducting a 7-month anthropological investigation and collecting 80 effective oral texts, the applicability of the research methods of oral texts and spatial chronicles in the study of ethnic settlements in border areas has been verified, and rescue efforts have been made to address issues such as unclear cultural heritage characteristics.
