From the rural revitalization strategy to the Hemei Village strategy proposed proposal of the20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, rural construction has been in full swing for five years, during which many high-quality works have emerged. However,it is undeniable that the problems faced by domestic rural planning are still very serious, and the top-down construction climax is still the mainstream, making it difficult to guarantee the interests of villagers. On the other hand, with the increasing improvement of people’s living standards, the demand for tourism has also changed, gradually transitioning from the material needs of casual observation to the cultural needs of touching the soul.In addition to the relevant policy support issued by the government, some "traditional villages" have ushered in new development opportunities. This article will take Shilin Laowa Village as an example to sort out the current problems faced by Laowa Village from an anthropological perspective, and propose four strategies for the entire process of villagers’ participation, polymorphic symbiosis planning, minimally invasive renovation, and building as the Romans do.Through the planning and architectural design of Laowa Village,it has continued the cultural, geographical and human connections of the village, fully mobilized the enthusiasm of the villagers, realized the maximization of their interests, and provided a new development model for future rural planning and design.
