| With the acceleration of urbanization,the urban population density keeps rising,the urban scale begins to expand outward,and the demand for highway construction that takes into account the function of urban roads gradually appears.Intercity road is a kind of road form between urban road and ordinary road.The road function and the role it plays are becoming more and more important.There is a lack of research on the technical indexes of intercity roads in cold areas.In cold areas,there are various types of intercity road intersections,complex traffic flow,lack of traffic safety facilities,and the road friction coefficient decreases after winter snow,which increases the possibility of accidents.The safety of drivers driving on the road with complex traffic environment,such as intercity road plane intersection,is worrying.Therefore,it is of great significance for the traffic design of intercity road plane intersection in cold areas.The research content is as follows:(1)Based on the investigation of traffic characteristics at the plane intersection of Changqing Highway in Changchun City,the traffic environment and geometric characteristics of the plane intersection of intercity roads in cold areas are analyzed.The Y-shaped,T-shaped and cross-shaped plane intersections in the non-signalcontrolled intersections are selected as experimental objects to analyze their traffic flow characteristics from three aspects: traffic volume,traffic composition and running speed.On this basis,the design of cross-plate vehicle test is carried out.(2)Based on the theoretical basis of drivers’ eye movement characteristics,the visual recognition process of drivers at intercity road plane intersections is divided into cognition stage,decision-making stage and execution stage.Dikablis eye tracker was used to collect the data of eye movement changes of vehicle drivers passing different types of intersections during different periods of daytime in winter.Eye movement parameters such as fixation point distribution,fixation duration,saccade duration,saccade amplitude,pupil area and pupil area change rate were selected to analyze the changing rules of drivers’ eye movement characteristics at different intersections during peak and peak periods.At the end of the test,the test data were pretreated.(3)SPSS software was used to test the drivers’ eye movement characteristics under different conditions by non-parametric test method and single factor analysis of variance.The results showed that the drivers’ fixation points at intersections during normal peak period and peak period were mainly distributed on the right side of the road and in the distance of the road.Different types of intersections have significant effects on the fixation time,saccade duration and saccade amplitude of drivers at different stages,but have no significant effects on pupil area and pupil area change rate.The significant parameters are taken as the traffic design parameters of the intersection.(4)According to the eye-movement characteristics and traffic characteristics of drivers at different stages of intersections,the distance of traffic signs and markings under different traffic volumes and different intersection types is calculated.The average delay time and queue length after traffic optimization design are simulated by VISSIM simulation software as evaluation indexes to verify the accuracy of calculation results.And the simulation before and after optimization,finally from the driver’s eye movement characteristics of the intersection traffic design suggestions. |
