Study On The Evolution Of Campus Spatial Form In Hubei University

This study restores the evolution process of campus spatial form of Hubei University from the Republic of China era to the present 90 years.Starting from the positioning of different times,this paper it explores the underlying forces behind the evolution of campus morphology,analyzes the evolution characteristics,and summarizes the evolution rules of campus spatial morphology.It proposes the construction principles of campus spatial morphology of Hubei University in the new era,providing strong support for the future construction of university campuses in China.Throughout the development of Hubei University’s campus,changes in the spatial form of the campus are mainly reflected in planning,layout,buildings,roads,landscapes,etc.However,this is only a superficial physical space,which needs to touch the evolution core of the spatial form of the university campus from many external social factors.Starting from the era background positioning of each stage of Hubei University,this paper horizontally analyzes the development relationship between the sociopolitical,economic,and cultural environment in each specific period and the characteristics of the campus morphology of Hubei University,and on this basis,taking the development of the temporal context as the longitudinal main line,summarizes the development characteristics of the spatial morphology of Hubei University campus,and studies the evolution process of the campus morphology of Hubei University from a holistic perspective.From the research,it is found that the spatial form of Hubei University campus is greatly related to the development of higher education,urban planning,school positioning,and cultural spirit.This article consists of three parts,namely,the first part composed of Chapter 1,the second part composed of Chapter 2,Chapter3,Chapter 4,and Chapter 5,and the third part composed of Chapter 6.The first part of this article mainly describes the research foundation and methods of the article,summarizes the relevant research content at home and abroad,and expounds the conceptual theoretical knowledge in the research.The second part divides the campus development process of Hubei University into four parts,introducing the spatial morphological characteristics of Hubei University in various periods,and analyzing the reasons for its evolution.The third part is the research results,summarizing and comparing the morphological characteristics summarized in chapters 2 to 5,and sorting out the laws of spatial morphology of Hubei University campus and the forces behind the evolution.It also analyzes the evolution process of campus functional layout,architectural features,road traffic,and cultural landscapes.Finally,based on the characteristics and evolution rules of campus spatial morphology of Hubei University,it is proposed to integrate the historical legacy genes of campus spatial morphology and carry out new changes in campus spatial morphology.
