Study On The Conservation And Reuse Of Industrial Building Remains In Zhuzhou Smelter

With the continuous development of urbanization,the once marginalized industrial land has been transformed into a prosperous urban center.In an environment lacking of living facilities and polluted by industrial production,the original industrial relics are completely unable to meet the growing needs of people,therefore,the renewal of industrial building relics has become an inevitable choice for sustainable urban development.In the context of urban renewal,the preservation and reuse of industrial building remains are getting more and more attention.Taking the zinc electrolysis workshop of Zhuzhou Smelter as an example,this paper combines theory and practice by analyzing literature and combining practical research to explore how to realize the conservation and reuse of industrial building remains in detail,with a view to providing reference for future conservation and reuse.The content of this paper is divided into the following aspects:Firstly,it compares the current situation of domestic and foreign research on the conservation and reuse of industrial heritage,compares the development of industrial heritage conservation theory and the latest progress of its sustainable development,and based on this,analyzes the typical cases of industrial heritage reuse at home and abroad and summarizes their conservation and reuse design strategies,in order to provide reference for the sustainable development of industrial heritage,and then guide the generation of strategies for the reuse of industrial heritage.Secondly,through data collection and field research,we analyze the existing problems starting from the current situation of the zinc electrolysis workshop of Zhuzhou Smelter.By combing relevant literature and combining with actual research,the value of the conservation and reuse of Zhuzhou Smelter is further clarified: on the one hand,it serves as an external expression,such as architectural groups and single building forms;on the other hand,it can also serve as an immaterial space,including spatial environment and humanistic features.From the perspective of the protection and reuse of industrial relics,the importance of the protection and reuse of Zhuzhou Smelter is discussed in depth.Finally,a series of measures will be taken to protect and reuse this historical resource in combination with the current problems of the plant,and a series of policies for protection and redevelopment will be formulated for the local audience,spatial environment,functional business mode,humanistic features,green environment,etc.A variety of measures will be taken to reuse the industrial relics,to repair the functional business mode of the industrial relics in a diversified way,and to continue the humanistic features of the industrial relics This will enable the industrial relics to give full play to their characteristics and vitality,rejuvenate the Zhuzhou Smelter,and bring inspiration to the redevelopment and reuse of other similar historical resources.
