Research And Evaluation On The Influencing Factors Of International Engineering Contracting Enterprises’ Fulfillment Of Social Responsibility

Under the background of economic globalization and promoting the construction of a community of shared future for mankind,and with the efficient promotion of the "going out" strategy of Chinese engineering contracting enterprises,it is increasingly important for Chinese international engineering contracting enterprises to perform social responsibility for enterprise and social development.In order to improve the level of international engineering projects to fulfill social responsibility,promote the successful development of engineering projects and high-quality development of enterprises.This paper studies the evaluation and influencing factors in fulfillment of social responsibility from the perspective of international engineering contractors.In terms of the evaluation of performing social responsibility,based on the characteristics that the projects contracted by international engineering contractors are all over the world and the enterprises mainly rely on engineering projects to fulfill their social responsibilities,this paper constructs an evaluation index system of engineering projects to fulfill their social responsibilities from the project level,and further comes up with a comprehensive use of analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and match-element extension model to assess social responsibility fulfillment.Lastly take ZM company contracting 6 international engineering projects in Africa as a practical case to carry out the evaluation of its social responsibility performance.According to the evaluation results,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from the micro level of the projects.In the aspect of influencing factors of performing social responsibility,this paper builds an interpretive structure model(ISM)model to clearly show the mutual influencing factors and action mechanism among factors based on researches in ZM Company on the influencing factors of fulfilling social responsibility.The results show that the most superficial influencing factors of ZM company performing social responsibility are: host country employers ’ requirements,corporate external competitors’ social responsibility performance,etc;the deepest influencing factors are: social environment of the host country,perfection of the social responsibility system and degree of law enforcement of the host country;the other 12 influencing factors play a "bridge" role among them and finally the 20 influencing factors jointly affect enterprises ’ social responsibilities performance.This paper further puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the macro level of government and enterprise.This paper contributes a method basis for evaluating the international engineering social responsibility performance,clarifies the influencing factors of social responsibility and their mechanism of action,puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the micro level of projects and the macro level of governments and enterprise and enriches theories in research on social responsibility as well as provides a reference for improving the level of social responsibility performance.
