Research On Urban Design Of Suburban High-speed Railway Area From The Perspective Of Smart Growth

From the ancient animal power vehicles to the steam trains and ships during the Industrial Revolution,to today,automobiles,rail transit and aircraft have become the main modes of transportation in modern cities.The transportation mode plays an important guiding role in the change of urban scale and spatial structure.Compared with other methods,high-speed rail is favored by urban development and residents’ travel due to its advantages of faster speed,higher land and energy conservation,higher safety and larger traffic volume.Especially in recent years,with the development of China’s high-speed rail industry has jumped to a new level,many medium-sized cities have also built high-speed rail stations.Due to the late construction time,these stations are mostly arranged in the suburbs due to the requirements of linear indicators,thus forming the surrounding suburban high-speed railway areas.In order to make full use of the advantages of the production factors of high-speed railway to drive the development of the area,promote the optimization of urban spatial structure and urban economic growth,most of the medium-sized cities with stations in China have carried out the urban design of suburban high-speed railway areas.However,due to the lack of understanding of the complexity of the area construction,the lack of guidance of the system theoretical system,and blindly following foreign experience,excessive attention to economic development while ignoring environmental protection and balanced social development,and excessive attention to material and non-material factors.In this context,this paper selects the perspective of smart growth and studies the urban design of suburban high-speed railway areas in medium-sized cities in China.The full text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction of the paper,which mainly expounds the research background,the research purpose and significance,the definition of relevant concepts,the research object and scope,the related theories and theoretical research review at home and abroad,and the research methods and framework.The second chapter is the theoretical research part of the paper,first interpreting the connotation of the goal of smart growth;Secondly,the urban design elements of the suburban high-speed rail area are proposed and explained in detail.Finally,the mutual influence between the two is analyzed and its correlation is summarized,and the specific characteristics of urban design and smart growth of suburban high-speed rail areas in China’s medium-sized cities from the perspective of smart growth are summarized,which provides reference for the proposal of the following strategy from the perspective of theoretical analysis.The third chapter is the case analysis part of the paper,first,determine the case selection criteria,and select the domestic and foreign cases with reference value for this paper research;then make the specific analysis of the cases according to the aforementioned elements from the level of smart growth;finally,analyze the cases with comparative analysis and experience summary,and pave the way for the following strategy from the perspective of existing practical analysis.The fourth chapter is the strategy research part of the paper.On the basis of the previous research,the principles and strategies applicable to the urban design of suburban high-speed railway areas of medium-sized cities in China from the perspective of smart growth are determined.The fifth chapter is the empirical research part of the paper,on the basis of interpreting and sorting out the relevant superior planning and the development status and existing problems of the high-speed railway area,the development positioning of the area from the perspective of smart growth is determined,and the above theoretical research results are applied in the design practice to verify the feasibility of the strategy.The sixth chapter is the conclusion part of the paper,which mainly expounds the research results,innovation points,research shortcomings and future prospects of the paper.Figure 78 table 22 reference 73...
