China’s architectural criticism is still in a relatively backward stage.The contemporary Chinese architectural criticism established under the influence of Western modernist theory lacks clear value standards and a sound critical system.How to make architectural criticism reflect practical value is an unsolved issue.After 2000,the Chinese internet entered an era of rapid development,and the development and progress of the internet prompted the renewal of construction media.In the transition from traditional architectural media to new media,there has been a trend of more liberalization and popularization in architectural commentary.The new media of construction has sparked attention and online discussions among the whole society about hot architectural events such as Evergrande Football Stadium and Dream of Renovating Home Red Brick House.In these events,popular architectural reviews have had a substantive impact on building schemes and project reviews for the first time.Based on the knowledge of communication science,this paper combs the development of Chinese architectural media and studies the case of popular architectural criticism,helping to build a system of Chinese architectural criticism and promoting the development of contemporary Chinese architectural criticism.This paper first introduces the basic knowledge of architectural communication,clarifying the media attributes of architecture and the four elements of architectural communication.Based on this,the development and evolution of traditional architectural media and new architectural media are analyzed in detail,using time as a clue.After that,it introduces the basic theory of architectural criticism,compares the development process of architectural criticism in China and the West,and summarizes the core and external manifestations of architectural criticism.Through the analysis of popular architectural reviews in recent years in the selection of architectural awards and social architectural hot events,further suggestions are provided for the establishment of a contemporary architectural review system based on the discourse space of new architectural media.Big data technology is a widely used internet information processing technology in recent years.This paper uses this technology as a technical means to analyze the dissemination effect and content data of representative global knowledge of architectural media Lei Feng and representative architectural critic Zhou Rong;And use big data technology to collect and compare information on new and old building media,analyzing the iteration of new and old media.Through the research of this paper,it can be concluded that the shift from traditional architectural media to new media is not yet over.In this process,popular architectural reviews will further develop.The practical role of architectural criticism will continue to strengthen with the attention of society to architecture. |
