The advancement of urbanization and the rapid development of cities had also caused a variety of urban problems while bringing huge economic benefits to cities. In order to cope with the various health problems brought by urban development, the research of healthy cities came into being. At present, the research of healthy urban planning was mostly concentrated on the impact of urban construction on the physiological health of residents. It paid less attention to other health issues, and the main factors and paths which affect urban public health were not clear. In order to explore the influencing factors of urban public health value and clarify the improvement strategies of urban public health, this paper took the old area of Chizhou as an example, evaluated the public health value of the old town of Chizhou City from three dimensions: physical health, mental health and social health through field research and questionnaire distribution, and obtained the main influencing factors and action paths by constructing a structural equation model, and put forward a targeted strategies for improving the public health value of the old area of Chizhou.Through the research of this paper, the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The public health value of the old area of Chizhou was 71.32,reaching a high level;the public health value of each community reached a high level, the highest Gushun community was 77.84,the lowest Huijing community was 66.36,a difference of 11.48;the highest public health value of each community was Dongfeng community, which was 92.37,and 93.66% of the communities were high level and above;Spatially, the public health value in the east and northwest of the study area was low,and the public health value in the south was higher, and the southwest and southeast continued to rise; The spatial distribution continuity of public health values was low;The public health value of communities near water or large areas of green space was higher, and the public health value of communities in traffic arteries or areas with a high concentration of people was lower;(2)The physical activity intensity of residents in the old area of Chizhou was average, subjective perception and health status were better, and there were certain differences among different types of people;(3)Physical activity intensity, urban environment, subjective perception, etc.will all affect the health score of residents in various dimensions,The main influencing factors of public health included terrain elevation, green space rate, vegetation coverage, proportion of water body, average surface temperature, proportion of built-up area, number of transportation service facilities, number of scientific, educational and cultural facilities, number of sports and leisure facilities, proportion of commercial land and proportion of residential land, among which the intensity of physical activity and subjective perception had a significant impact on the health status of residents, and the direct impact of urban environment on health status was not significant; The increase in the proportion of built-up areas, the number of scientific, educational and cultural facilities, the average surface temperature, and the decrease in the number of sports and leisure facilities are conducive to the improvement of residents’ subjective perception; The increase in the proportion of builtup areas and the decrease in the number of sports and leisure facilities are beneficial to the mental health of residents, and the decrease of vegetation coverage is beneficial to the social health of residents;(4)The urban environment can exert an effect on the health status of residents by affecting the intensity of physical activity and subjective perception of residents; The increase in urban green space rate improves residents’ daily activities by increasing residents’ satisfaction with air quality and traffic conditions, while negatively affecting residents’ negative emotions and loneliness by reducing the length of low-intensity activity of residents.Based on the results of field research and data analysis, this paper proposes strategies to improve the value of public health in the old area of Chizhou, mainly including establishing an urban green space system, strengthening green design and maintenance, setting up green belt and noise isolation facilities, adjusting garbage collection facilities, strengthening air quality monitoring, lighting design combined with landscape, using potential activity space, using existing facilities and increasing as needed, optimizing urban road sections, improving urban road network structure, and building a slow-moving space network. The study put forward specific suggestions for the construction and environmental optimization of the old area of Chizhou, and also provides reference for the construction of other cities.Figure 35 Table 29...
