Study On The Construction Strategies Of Regional Suitability Of Traditional Residential Buildings In Shanghai

With the development of the concept of emphasizing technology while neglecting culture,the unique regional characteristics of cities gradually disappear in the process of pursuing technological innovation,and modern architecture has encountered a dilemma of convergent development.In the development process of traditional residential buildings,influenced by regional climate,culture,and technology,they have formed architectural features with regional characteristics.Therefore,drawing regional suitability construction strategies from traditional dwellings is of great significance for inheriting Shanghai’s regional architectural style and protecting Shanghai’s traditional dwellings.First of all,the characteristics of natural environment and human environment in Shanghai are studied.The characteristics of natural environment are mainly analyzed from the aspects of climate,terrain,Rivers and Lakes;The characteristics of cultural environment are mainly analyzed from Shanghai style culture,Jiangnan culture,and Lilong culture;At the same time,through field research on traditional residential buildings in Shanghai,the architectural characteristics of traditional residential buildings in Shanghai are summarized in four aspects: planning location,architectural space,construction technology,and decorative art;Secondly,according to the idea of "identification and extraction-analysis and evaluation-integration and establishment",establish the construction strategy of regional suitability and the basic logic of translation;Thirdly,the construction strategies for regional suitability are summarized from three aspects: climate,culture,and technological suitability.The construction strategies based on climate suitability are mainly reflected in five aspects: building site selection,street space,courtyard patio,spatial organization,and building materials.The Phoenics software is used to simulate and verify the impact of traditional residential street space height to width ratio,street trend,and courtyard space width to length ratio on climate,The construction strategy based on cultural suitability is mainly reflected in four aspects: planning and location selection,spatial layout,facade texture,and decorative art.The construction strategy based on technical suitability is mainly reflected in three aspects: enclosure structure,partition structure,and load-bearing structure.Finally,on the basis of summarizing and sorting out the regional suitability construction strategies of traditional residential buildings,the modern application of traditional residential construction strategies is explored from three aspects: climate,culture,and technological suitability.This article summarizes the architectural characteristics of traditional residential buildings in Shanghai,establishes the basic logic of regional suitability construction strategies and translation,summarizes and sorts out regional suitability construction strategies,and proposes modern application methods of regional suitability construction strategies based on this.It is expected to provide research ideas for the inheritance and development of traditional residential buildings in Shanghai,and has reference and reference value for regional architectural creation in Shanghai.Figure [43] table [26] reference [73]...
