In recent years, due to the influence of human activities, production and life, carbon emissions have risen sharply, the greenhouse effect has become more and more serious, and the Earth’s natural environment has been destroyed, environmental pollution has become a common global challenge.According to United Nations Environment Programme Statistics, the construction industry accounts for 50% of global energy consumption and over 40% of global greenhouse gas emissions,it brings great challenge to the green development of global environment. The scale of our country’s construction industry is developing rapidly, the amount of greenhouse gas emission is also increasing, and the pressure of carbon reduction is also increasing. If the growth of carbon emissions is not curbed, the construction industry will account for more than 50% of global carbon emissions by 2050.The city of Yan Mountains,in the northern part of the city, has introduced a series of policies to reduce carbon emissions in rural housing, but the practice and theory of housing in shallow mountain areas are inadequate.Based on field research, this thesis conducted a comprehensive survey on the topographical features, climatic characteristics, building status and residents’ satisfaction in the southern Piedmont of Yan Mountains,Beijing.Based on the analysis of the survey data, the relevant status quo of the southern foot of Yan Mountains River in the Beijing area was obtained,so as to conduct a targeted study on the green promotion technology of rural housing in the area. The relevant theories are analyzed, and some research results are summarized to guide the next step of green promotion technology research. This thesis analyzes the cases of similar climate regions from Asia,Europe and Americans, and summarizes the best practices in these cases, which can be used as a practical basis for green promotion.Through the comparison and analysis of relevant standards, this thesis sums up the most suitable local standard limits and key points for the next step of simulation calculation, screening out the appropriate local means of upgrading rural housing to pave the way.The software of PHOENICS and Swire were used as the simulation tools to build the corresponding building and site models according to the current situation of rural residential buildings in the south of Yan Mountains. On this basis, the influence of design parameters such as site selection, general layout, building orientation, shape coefficient and space layout on building energy consumption and carbon emission is further studied,to determine the optimal design of a single design parameter. At the same time, determine the type and scheme of renewable resources utilization. Finally, based on the summary of the current situation and design standards of rural residential buildings in the southern foot of Yan Mountains,a green upgrading design was carried out from the building plan and profile, and a suitable renewable energy utilization plan was designed.Compared with the original building, the energysaving rate of the final design is 80.9%,and the carbon-reducing rate is over 76%.Thus,the applicability and validity of the research results on the upgrading technology of rural housing in the southern foot of Yan Mountains River in Beijing area were verified.
